Viewing profiles

How come I can't view any profiles? Is it my operating system, my computer, Fire Fox browser? What gives?
Also, how many posts do we need to acquire the ability to upload an avatar? Once I've achieved that goal? Is there any limitations to the avatar I choose? Such as: Can it be yiffy? Picture size? file size?
One more question:
How do I turn HTML mode on? I know how to program in HTML and it would be nice to create tables, forms, and such using HTML and linking to javascripts and CSS on my future server.

Okay, I read through the 3 links (perhaps I passed it over)...But I still didn't find out why profiles aren't showing up. I keep getting this dumb error message stating I'm trying to change someone's post or something.

Oops...I must have edited my post after you replied.
I still can't figure out how to view profiles. I wouldn't be surprised if it has something to do with hunk of junk CPU and my dial up...
Gosh...I hate dial up.

That MIGHT be the problem. I'm not sure if it has to do with you being a new user too. I actually think that might be it. Yea, now that I think about it, that is it.

Still, a lot of stuff wont work on my computer. I can't get instant messengers to run. I can't get fruity loops to work. IE! crashes every time so I had to search through my archived disc and reinstall mozilla. I found Fire fox works best.
Also, my photo studio generates this error every time I use the fill or line option:
somethingsomethingdat.dll has performed an illegal operation.
the program will be forced to shut down.
Even Kazaa acts weird and crashes my system. *growls*
So...I really didn't know if my computer was the cause or not. Half of my programs are corrupted anyway.

yeh...you can't view profiles until your active. Until then you can only PM users.
By the way...is the gallery just out of action or is that something you can't use for 30 days just liek the arcade?
