I'm about 90% certain this is a problem with the boards because of something I noticed on the side:
One pretty much all of the boards I visit about once a day, a few weeks to a month ago - I forget exactly when - threads started vanishing. For example, on the Fursuit board, all I see are the two stickies, and nothing else. On the Otherkin board, there's one thread. The others - General Furry, Polls, etc - have about 10-15 threads visible to me.
The reason I'm sure this is a problem, and not a "feature" that's unknown to me (being new-ish to the forum) is because one of the threads that vanished, and was gone for a couple of days, got bumped by someone else, and was then visible to me. Same thing on Fursuits and Otherkin boards.
Soooo.... If this is in the wrong board (I didn't see an errors/support board), please move it ;), but otherwise - what's going on?
EDIT: Ohhhkaaay, the Board Updates and Info board gave me the hint I needed. There's a setting on Furry Furry that I've actually never seen on other boards before - and the forum default is way, way too short. The forum default apparently only shows threads when less than one (maybe two) days have passed since the last post in a thread. I need at least 2 weeks for it to feel right....
Soooo, since I don't see a "delete this thread/post" at the moment, I'll leave this here for any one else that happens to be clueless about that option.
(Personally, I think it would be better to set it to display a number of pages worth of threads, rather than base it on the last post date. Less confusing.)
