rep power

I hope I put this in the right place.

What is rep power? How do you get it?

From what I figure, mods see that a member is doing good and adds rep points so that person is seen as having a reputation for being helpful, interesting, or nice. Am I correct?

From what I can tell, rep power is useful as a gugue to others for the things you mentioned. You don't have to be a Mod to add to someone's rep, simply click on the scales icon at the upper right of someone's post.
