For some reason i can add a profile pic but not an avy pic whats up with them apples?

There are several restrictions on new members including not being able to create an avatar picture, view profiles, PM more than a single furson, play in the arcade, etc. Just wait 15 days and most everything will unlock, except the arcade... that takes 30 days I think. And the gallery which is closed indefinitely... this doesn't mean permanently mind you.

Hope that helps. I'm still fairly new here myself, but I'd be glad to lend a paw as I can. Maybe some of the old-paws can shed some more light on the subject.

Why do they have the 15-30 day waits for anyways?

I could understand like 5-10 days, but for that many? I could have up and over like 1,500 posts by then. >.<

This (and a number of other questions regarding active member status) seem to show up quite frequently, yet I couldn't seem to find anything regarding it in the FAQ sections. Am I missing something? I know you can easily find the information by searching the board, but maybe this should be made available in the FAQ.

this is to answer most others question's and such the whole Avatar thing, if your still counted as a newbie the most you can post up is either the profile pic, but not your main picture which you want the public to see you as, there is 10-15 day wait on this, me i don't know why either in case your abusing your membership and attacking the site. the Gallery for most even though you May sign up you still may not see the gallery there is still a hold on that, even then you would probably have to count as an active member.
