My upload quota is like 400kb, i cant post any of my furry pics,
so far ive only uploaded 2 pictures
of dragons and it stops uploading

help me please?

*pads in and sits* Okay... I have an attachment management question along the lines of this thread, so I thought I might voice it here. I've searched the Board's FAQ and Forums without seeing mention of it. *shrugs* maybe it's just too obvious. Anyway...

If I were to delete an attachment I have uploaded, will that remove it from any posts in which I used it?

My guess is it would, though I would prefer not to test this as I would likely make the said post pointless. Has anyfur experience with this? *smiles* Thank you for any help. *stands, trotting off into the brush*

Is it possible to limit the upload quota for a single board and unlimited/very high quota for others. I've seen it in on some forums where it was possible to attach pictures on some boards, but not possible to do so on the others. I'm not sure if it's on option on this type of system.

I don't know. I can't even get it to work so it's really not possible for me to do anything until I find out how this stupid bbs works attachments.

Thought I would asking in this thread. I aware you can't link to images that you get from pay sites, it should come from the artists homepage that's free. My question is it bad if I post a site to see pictures that not a paysite, but it's not exactly their homepage? I don't post the images just a link to them.
Just wondering what the legality there is. I don't want to continue to do that if it's not allowed, it wasn't clearly defined in the gallery.

If i may offer a meager amount of help? Considering and all.
But what are you running Rruff? Are you Running GUI EleBBS Or are you running more on a slash code system?
My suggestion is quite possibly your running up your bandwith at peek hours? Maybe thats why the images freezes and the uploading is turned?

But there are some duelly noted problems with any of the Futallaby, or are you running perl? or simply Php standard model?
Let me know? perhaps i can help out? Without taking a look at the full coding i really can't say much.

But as it sounds i can think of only a few things.
A. Your passing up your upload qouta. so either tune them down or make them smaller.

Perhaps you might need to check your ISP proxy settings.
I think you have to use Keyhole version 2 to view KML files. Did you save the place marks in version 2 then try to open them in an earlier version?

Granted all of this is just speculation. As i said if i can't see the code I'm not really sure whats wrong.


B. bad code.. But its gonna take you hours to look through all that code to find out whats wrong. it could be the bad code is putting it in a lope process as it is and Keeps it in a upload loop.

C. Formatting error.

These are the only reasons of why i can think of that this upload process isn't working.

I think I've found out the issue, I am just afraid to change something right now, I want to wait till I have more time incase something goes wrong (more worried about people abusing it and me not being around to fix things).
