[Alphaleader]

It was a Rainy Afternoon and sunshine didn't seem in sight, No one could tell if pouring of rain would stop. Even in the Kingdom of Escar as bold and Cunning as any other, was unable to escape such downpour.

It's castle was Very Beautiful even as the Water dropped from the heavens onto it's Frame, but it seemed more like a Blessing then a curse. And It is here where the story Begins.

A cloaked figure walks about the Streets up to the castle's Gates, he was here on business. Business of What kind was anyone's Guess, but As soon as he showed a piece of paper to the Guard, he was allowed Entrance into the Castle and it's halls.

With a deep sigh as the stranger walked in doors, his cold breath revealing and his body quivering from the cold as he took off his hood to reveal himself.

He Had the head of a Wolf, but most of his Fur was shaped like Scale Plates of a Lizard or Dragon! Even on his head did he bear a Crown of two Small horns going back!
Soon one of the Guards came up and ask him of his name. "I...I am Lunus. A Sword for hire.", he Replied.

The heavy downpour was depressing she wasn't able to go out says her father, though she was able to roam the castle a few times. She sighs as she was looking out the window where she perch, she didn't know what to do, her light weight gown was lolling to the ground, her blue scales with fur was catching, her head a mix of a wolf and a dragon, her short hair went down to her neckline.

When she saw the gate opened she got up and walks out the door, she couldn't resist seeing who it might be so she hurried down to take a look.

Lunus looked about the Castle as one of the guards went to inform the king that he had Arrived and Just in time. The Castle didn't seem to fit with him since he was going to be standing here waiting, it only made him seem out of place, and the Clothes he wore made him look like a common begger!

At first Lunus was about to head outside, that was until he saw someone coming down the Steps to see who was here, His eyes wided as he saw a Female who looked almost like him, but she was far more Pleasing on the eyes then he was!

The Guard who had been left to keep an eye on him walked up to the Princess, "I'm sorry your Highness...But you can't be down here.", he said.

Serene wave the guard off, "what? I just like to see whats going on, my father is stubborn as a mule these days" then perks up, "oh sorry! this downpour is making me cranky..what do we have here?" She looks at the male that looks like her, "mm did you at least invite him to eat something or step inside? He could get a cold standing there"

[Alphaleader]

The Guard looked at her before looking back at Lunus, "I...Well..he...I didn't bother to ask.", the Guard replied alittle Dumb fonded at the moment.

Lunus walked up closer, "Don't mind him. I'm fine. I Just waiting around for the Man who hired me", he Anwsered to her.

Serene looks at the male, "well who ever hired you isn't here yet, so why not stay indoors for a bit" She smiles at him, "so what is your name young man?" putting her paw over her hip.

Lunus blushed abit as she touched him abit, but he came in and took off his wet things.

Under his cloak was a Nicely Decorated Sword, it looked like nothing anybody had seen before, a very Unique Weapon indeed. It only made him seem more Mysterious, when in fact he wasn't. He was just Misunderstood.

"I take it your Royalty.", he said to her as he unstraped his weapon and placed it down.

Serene nods, "fortunately, you can't really do anything cause your father is the king, its no fun at all" she smiles and was quite amazed as she looks at the sword, "wow! thats an interesting blade, did you make it? And its practically brand new" she was quite impressed

Lunus smirked, "No...Not really. I Found it.", he replied. For some reason he was feeling little better instead of being in a dull and unforgiving mood like he usually was.

"May I ask your name?", he said as he neared her.

The Guard could only look on to his Horror about what Lunus was doing and Why The Princess was so interested in him.

Serene nods and chuckles, "well i'm Serene and its a pleasure meeting you, why do you hold such a facsinating blade?" She shook her head, "well, is the young fellow hungry?"

[Alphaleader]

((Sorry. I was about to Reply last night. But I had something to do. It took alot of time!))

Taking her paw, he shook it gently, "Serene. Beautiful name. I am Lunus!", He replied just before letting her paw go. He soon looked at his blade, "Oh, this!? Well....I fell right next to it one could say!", he said jokingly.

And as soon as she tried to send the Guard out to Get some food, The King was Walking down the hall from behind Serene! Lunus now had to turn his gaze to Him, it was indeed a sad thing to do, but it was to show respect for Both him and Serene!

The King was Blue Dragon dressed in robes and his crown on his head. "Serene! What are you doing down here?", he asked her just before looking at Lunus as he bowwed.

SHe smiles and chuckles and patted his paw, "well this is better than staying up in my room, i should..." she paused and heard footsteps, turning my head to see my father. She cringed let go of his paw, "father, i was just..." her words fail her and bowed her head.

[Alphaleader]

The King had a Very unsure look on his Face for his Daughter seemed to be hiding something from him! But it mattered not of the moment, he Moved up to Lunus, "Rise!", he commanded.

Lunus did as he was told and even stood Straight at the King, "Hhmmm....So your the Sword I hired!?", The King said as he looked at Lunus's Features, since he was infact a Half-breed just like his Daughter and Even of the same kind! But he really wasn't here to pair them Together. "I have a Job for you young one. Come!", he said as he brought his Claws onto his Daughter's Shoulder and guided them into the Feasting Hall!

Lunus seemed to have the King's trust, but he wasn't Sure, he could only grab his Blade and walk with them into the hall to sit down.

Serene wasn't thrilled at the least but at least she got a few minutes with Lunus but with her father looming over her, she couldn't get a decent suitor cause her father was strict with rules. She blinks, "so father you were the one who hired him?"

[Alphaleader]

The King turned to his Daughter, "...Yes. And the reason being, I will discuss soon after. But at the Moment....", he soon cut off and turned his gaze back to Lunus.

By the way he looked at him, he could tell he was a Drifter since he looked as if he came from Allies of the poor, but a Warrior's skills had their Own Weight in Gold, and they were more or Better then regular Soldiers! But soon his gaze shifted to the Sword he Held.

"Lad. May I see your Sword?", he asked him. Lunus moved the hilt of the Sword close to the King so he could grasp it. The King Pulled his Sword from it's Sheath to Reveal it's Bright, Blue Blade! "Tell Me...What is your Name!?", the King asked.

Serene nods as she sat down on one of the chairs while they discuss things, she didn't really care much about them but she was interested in what they were saying now, even the blade seems to glisten, "can i look at the sword again?"

[Alphaleader]

"My name is Lunus Sire.", he Anwsered him.

The king looked at his daughter hearing her words before looking back at Lunus, "If it is alright with you Lad?", he said as he held Lunus's Sword and Was about to hand it to Serene.

"My sword is yours.", Lunus replyed.

With a very impressed look he handed his Daughter the sword and got up, "You are a fine Lad. You may not look well, but your just as fine as any other! Now, we can discuss the matter of you Protecting my Daughter!", the King said.

Lunus tried to keep his surprise down as the King was facing his Daughter, This Type of Duty he has came acroos before. But not like this. Not when a Female as Beautiful as her was in his Sight!

It felt like something bad was going to happen along the way!

Serene was twitching her ears as she heard this, "father i'm not a helpless child, i can take care of myself" she said it with pride she was now holding the hilt of the sword, it looks light but the blade was really something, "does this have to do anything with this sword? or with sir Lunus?"

The King sighed as he heard his Daughters words, "No you cannot! And that is the reason you will be guarded by Lunus, Until you reach the Kingdom Fynn!!". He said.

Lunus wasn't sure if he should have been here, this dispute only reminded him of something that happened, it wasn't fear, but it was something that brought his memory back to seeing..... Lunus's thought's were interupted as he Heard the shouting of the King's daughter, she seemed angered about the whole Ordeal.

Serene would have dropped the sword, "The Kingdom FYnn!? Whatever for?" she said sarcastically, she knows she was fuming and walks out the door slamming it loudly

[Alphaleader]

The King growled, his Daughter was always like this and worst of all, he Mentioned part of the reason why he hired Lunus!

All Was not truly going as planned, with a deep sigh he turned to Lunus. "I'm sorry for my daughter's Behavior. She's young, Brash and hard Tempered! Just like my at moments.", he said as he walked over and Picked up Lunus's Sword. Walking back he handed it to him, "I have kept this a Secret from her. And told Others to NEVER usher a Word of this to her. But, she is to be Engaged to the Prince of Fynn!! I Only wish what is best for her and of both Kingdoms.", The King said.

Lunus lowered his ears abit, it was indeed a Fate that was chosen for her, Something even he, Could never Interfer! But Still, he wished he could help her in some way!?

Serene waltzed back to her room, enraged and confused and no doubt her father trying to get her engaged like he did a few years ago. She lay on her bed belly flopped and groans. She got up and went to the bathroom and looks the door, maybe a bath would help clear her mind and when the bath is ready she stripped down to her undergarments and slip those off as well and purrs when her body hit the water.

Lunus sighed heavily just before sheathing his blade, "I see traveling has taken it's toll. You can sleep in the guest room down the Hall.", The King said as he moved near the doorway to leave.

But he quickly stopped, he soon remembered that he had to tell Lunus what he Expected from him, "Lunus. Their are three things I want from you when you Escort my Daughter. Keep her in sight at all times. Do as my Soldiers Command. And above all else: Don't do anything that would Endanger My Daughter!!", he advised.

Lunus bowwed to him as a Sign of Respect for his Laws, But even so. It still seemed too....Restricting.

The King looked at Lunus as he bowwed, he soon turned and left going upstairs to his Daughter's room and knocked.

Serene hears a knock and sighs, "i'm in a middle of a bath here, come back later" she moves down mumbles something unpleasant. Before getting up and shook herself, then wrapping a towel over her body. SHe then walks to the door and saw her father, she groans "what is it this time father?" in a very impatient tone. SHe wanted to get back to her bath.

Her Father growled lowly abit before saying anything, "I will be leaving soon. And you shall leave soon after! I've made the arrangments for you to do so.", he stated as he looked at her, he could tell she was still angery over the Matter, and didn't seem like her temper was going to end anytime soon!

"Serene. I want the best for you, so Behave yourself while I'm gone.", he said.

As Lunus tried to walk outta the Dining hall, the Guards crossed their Spears and pervented him from Exiting. He could already tell this was going tough.

Serene nods and doesn't really want a fight with her father, "fine..i'll behave, now can i can i get back to the tub before the water gets cold? If i am going i might as well make myself clean" hope that would satisfy her father.

[Alphaleader]

He nods as he steps back, he was glad that she was taking it very well..... this was alot better compared to some other time and Usually it ended badly! The king soon came back down stairs, he was ready to go, he only needed to wait a few mintues for the Carrage before leaving.

Lunus was soon allowed back into the room, he was at least glad he was outta of there and was now looking forward for a nice rest, but that easier said then done!

The King turned to see Lunus, he could understand and sense his confusion in this Large then normal Castle, "Where are my Manners. Lunus, The guest room is up stairs and past My daughter's room. I'll send a Maid to help you.", he said. As he did so that same moment his carrage arrived and was ready to take him.

Serene finishes her bath and unplugs, then changes to another dress and sighs, "well, i hope this little outfit won't get any attention" she wore something casual and a bit greyish but she didn't mind, it was always her favorite when her father isn't around, then getting a spare formal wear to not embarass herself infront of the king of Lynn. then she exits her room and bumps into Lunus.

Just as Her father Leaves, Lunus decides to Travel upstairs towards the guest room and would wait for the Maid later, but as he went and amired the fine look of the Hallway, he bumbs into Serene unknowingly. He quickly bows to her for forgiveness.

But as he moves his head back up to view her, his eyes were wide as he looked at the Princess in such....a Lovely and yet very Exotic Dress.

"Are...are you okay?", he asked still alittle star strucked at how she looked!

She smiles as she saw him, "mm why wouldn't i be?" then she looks at where he was looking, "Oh! this? NIce huh? Bought in a market for a very reasonable price" SHe chuckles, "were you headed for the guest room? Its the next room beside mine" Then she sighs, "Mmm..can i talk to you for a while?" inviting him to her room.

Lunus looked down the hall and looked behind himself before nodding and walking into her room, he knew it wasn't a good Idea to be around her until they left but he couldn't help but do something for her. And she seemed like she needed the comfort of another besides her father.

As he entered the room he felt more at ease, "I'm sorry about bumping into you eariler.", he said.

Serene shook her head, "its ok, i'm quite relieved that my father is away but me going to Fynn? Not likely" she sat down on her bed, "mm did my father say anything else and why does he look so eager for us to go?" she growls and huffs.

[Alphaleader]

Lunus looked at her as his mind pressed back to what her father had said Eariler in that Dinning hall, he knew he was suppost to keep his mouth Shut otherwise the king would have his tongue in a jar.

And even though he knew about this, how was he suppost to tell her. All he could do was sigh.

Serene looks at him, his quiet demeanor told her it wasn't what she wanted to head but she kept quiet and profusely lay on the bed. Wanting him to tell her as if she didn't know. "Being a princess is not all good, cause your father governs you and he does make the law" then sitting back up, looking directly at him, "mmm...do you think...we can leave earlier than planned and go somewhere else before heading for Fynn?" she felt embarassed.

Lunus looked up into her eyes and could feel her calling out to him, she was so full of Pain and Confusion and all she wanted was the truth from him. He wanted to lie to her and tell it was gonna be okay, but it wasn't right...he could never lie to this girl he did not truly know.

"I....I'm sorry. But...its not Possible. Your fate....is to wed...the Prince of Fynn.", he spoke to her even though he was going to regret doing so, for it was a feeling of guilt that he had to tell her.

Serene sighs loudly and wonders about that, "mm...maybe we make a side trip and i really don't like marrying anyone i don't like, especially him" putting her paw over his, "aww come on Lunus, you'll still be guarding me and father did say keep me safe..." a bit pleading in her tone, "please?"

[Alphaleader]

It was very surprising that she was taking it well, but soon Lunus turned to Serene as she began to speak to him about leaving the Kingdom and Runnung away! "W-what!? We can't!", he replied to her with haste. It's only been several Moments since they first Met and already she's will to leave with him!

"I don't think we can run away. Your father would hunt me Down and have my Head on a Platter if I Took you!", Lunus added as he got up. He was starting to wonder why he ever even considered being hired for this Job. But then again....Did it really matter?

His thoughts began to conflict, he like the Princess. But it was wrong to Even agree with her in Abducting her!

Serene still looking cute over lunus, a bit embarrassing but she'll do anything not get get married, was there a reason why her father wants her to marry him? If not she might as well have a cute looking Lunus, she giggles, "mm...how about tonight? when all are sleeping? I know he would but he wants to make me happy right? if so...mm i'd rather you court me" she said mildly.

Lunus was starting to blush when she mentioned that te teo of them should become mates, he really didn't know what to expect if they left tonight since their wound still be guards on the look out and the only way to take her with him was when........Lunus stopped thinking. For their truly was a way to leave the castle.

It was a bad Idea from the start, truth be told he didn't want to do it. "Princess. T....there is a way to leave Castle. Its just that we need to leave with the knights in order to go to Fynn to do so!", he said quietly to her.

Serene nods solemnly, "so when do we leave, it should be soon so that father won't suspect anything" She would ask him, while her tail twitches a bit before giving him a chaste kiss over his cheek as she smiles at him

Lunus blushed more as he felt her kiss him, "....We'll leave in the Morning, it was what your Father had planned. But once we settle Down to sleep....I'll help you.", he replied to Serene as he tried to shake off the kiss that she so sweetly gave him.

Serene smiles, "then i bid you good night Sir Lunus" as she flip over the cover of the bed then tucks herself in as she closes her eyes to sleep.

Lunus sighes at ease as his Blushing quickly stopped as he got up "....Good night.", he whispered before he headed outside of her room and into the guest room for the night.

As he closed the Room door, he hit his own head on the wall, It wasn't a strong Blow, but it knocked him back to his senses, "YOU IDiOT!! You were Only here to Escort her!! Not Fall for her!", he said in his mind just before getting into the bed. But he couldn't stop thing about her, even when he dozzing off to sleep.

The Hours had passed quickly and the Rain showers seemed to stop...for now. Never the less It was perfect for leaving on the Long trip to Fynn! Lunus was already awake and ready at the door, he was just waiting for the Princess to come down that was all.

Serene got up quite energetic as she took a shower before they head off, she didn't really know if it was a dream or not but she can't get him out of her mind, when she got out of the shower she dressed and look presentable for their trip to Fynn...or not to Fynn, her tail twitching a lot as she heads downstairs to meet her escort. "ready to leave at anytime" she said

Lunus smiled as he looked at her, he really was losing it for she was very beautiful today. He had to snap himself out of it and think of something different. "Well this is a first. No Luggage? No Pouches full of Clothing?", he said jokingly to her since he normally would see others of Royal status so bent because they don't have what they need!

He was about to move up tp her, until. One of the Guards broke his fixsation on her by moving in the way!

Serene chuckles, "yeah i do, what girl wouldn't have?" she have a whole bag of her personal things and some clothes and that was it. SHe smiles, "well we should be off before anything else happens"

Soon some of the Guards came in a grabbed her things and took them to the Carage out side. "Come Princess. It's time to leave!", one of her Guards says.

Even though Lunus was coming with them, he was only to ride on Horse back and Near the Carage from Behind at all times! It was hard enough that he was to fallow the Knightly Guard's Orders, but Now he being placed behind as the Last Lobster!

Maybe he should just Kidnap her now and save them the trouble!

Serene looking back, 'well this is a predicament' she thought, waving at the guard, "wouldn't it be better if he sat over here...he IS my escort and the said so" in an ordering tone.

[Alphaleader]

Lunus did one thing as she tried to move into the Carage, He grabbed her Wrist and pulled her close so his muzzle was close to her ear, "At night fall. We will leave.", he managed to say to her before one of her guards came and saw that he had her.

With a sword drawn out, the Guard had the blade to him, Lunus Let go Swiftly and turned to the Guards, "She's fine! I thought something was wrong.", he lied to them.

Serene blinks she though he was going to kiss her, she blushed a bit and chuckles as she sat on the carriage. SHe was getting excited, "mm i can't wait!" Sitting cozily on her seat as she leans on the window

As soon as the Guards settled down, they began to move away from the Castle and headed out to the Road that Led to Fynn. Even though he knew they were doing a Service to tranport the Princess, Lunus couldn't help but worry that they were attracting Attention!

And worst of all it might be the Attention of Thieves! But Even if he tried to warn the Guards they would only be Stubborn and Disrespectful! And By the look of them Guarding the Carage, they didn't look to be in a talking mood!

1 hour had soon passed as they were out on road that could lead anywhere, they were Near a Deep Forest that Strech far beyond any Kingdom, for the last hour of Walking Lunus was getting Very tired of Just looking their behinds! But it was also giving worry. He felt something Wrong was about to happen!

Serene looks out the window feeling the wind over her face, she looks back and to the front, something in the air or something she ate, well something was bound to go wrong, this doesn't surprise her, it usually does. She was a bit worried right now.

[Alphaleader]

As Lunus traveled behind the Carage and was looking into the forest, he soon could hear a faint sound that was slowly screaming in his ears as the sound got closer! His Eye's widened as he remembered What was making that sound: ARROWS!!

He through himself off his Horse as the Arrow flew across, But he wasn't the only target!

Suddenly more arrows shot from the Forest and were aimed at the Carage, One of the Gaurds near the Serene was hit in the neck and Blood Stained the Carage Walls!

"Damn!!", Lunus Shouted as he Ran swiftly towards the Carage as more of the Gaurds were being hit and Killed by the Projectiles!

[Fireheatpaw]

Serene was about to fall asleep when the dreaded came flying she didn't dare look out the window, as more arrows came flying about, 'oh my! what to do what to do..." she said panicky then she wonders if Lunus was ok, she wouldn't know till the arrows stopped shooting.

[Alphaleader]

The Archers Continued Their assault as their arrows killed any Guard who was alive or even close to death from trying to Protect the Princess.

Lunus on the other Hand was having his Troubles as he dodged Arrow after arrow as he tryed to get to the Princess! But soon the Carage Guard who was Guiding the horses and was trying to keep them from Being fraightened and running off, Was struck in the neck and fell off!

With his command now gone, the Horse's fled away wildly with no sense of direction and Carried the Carage with them!!

Lunus eye's widened as he ran over to one of the guard's Horse and got on it, as he snapped the Reigns, he was suddenly hit with an Arrow into his arm!! It was painful, but he had to ignore it and Run his Horse faster so he could Help Serene!!

When the carriage was going to fast and blood was spilled, it was a bumpy ride, she had to think fast, moving herself as she opens the other door as she jumped out off the carriage where she rolled and tumbled seeing the carriage move farther away, then hid behind a tree seeing that it would be safe.

[Alphaleader]

As Lunus pursued the Carriage, he Pressured horse to go faster to catch up to it, but he was at least thankful that he could see it still, and just after he thought that, he saw how Serene Jumped out away from the road and into the bushes!

"Smart Girl!!", he said to himself as he traveled his horse up to bushes, he jumped off and took Serene in his arms, "You Okay!?", he asked as he brought her close to the Horse so she could get on!

Serene was pleased to see him, "yes..i'm good, though i'm not sure my father would be happy losing another carriage" she chuckles as she climbs his mound, "mm..does this tamper with our plans for tonight?"

[Alphaleader]

Lunus soon got behind Serene as he Mounted his Horse, he looked back to see that the Horses of the Guards were coming this way! And they were being ridden on by their attackers!!

"Yes! And Were Leaving NOW!!", he said as he Slapped the Reigns hard to make the Horse dash off and away from the Roads! It was a good thing that they were far from being seen by those Freakshows. "Well! I can say this! Our Plan worked!", he said even though it wasn't suppost to be funny.

Serene bit back a laugh, "yeah right! That was by far the stupidest thing i've ever heard" she said sarcastically, "but at least we're still in one piece" she wrap hher arms over the horse neck to avoid falling, "any idea where were going sherlock?"

[Alphaleader]

Lunus looked at Serene with a brow up, "No I don't have any plans. And by the way Sherlock isn't born Yet (Forth Wall!).", Lunus replyed as he sped the horse into a quicker pace. He looked back to see if anyone would have fallowed them and thank goodness no one was.
But one thing that had his Attention the most: Serene. He noticed how she seemed to brighten with joy of riding in such free winds. "Your really enjoying this, aren't you?", He asked her.

Serene chuckles, "well, i am enjoying this as much as you are i hope, mm...i know we can go to a village, a bit far a mile away maybe we can go there and rethink our plans" she suggested.

[Alphaleader]

"Alright. But were gonna need to dress you in some unregal Attire!", Lunus replied as he pointed to her Dress and Jewery!

"That Jewery is gonna have to go!", he added.

[Fireheatpaw]

Serene tilts her head, "well we can stop for a while while i get changed, should be appropriate" clinging on her small bag/pouch, "i can always stuff them in my bag provided you wait...and no peeking when i'm changing" she said pointedly.

[Alphaleader]

And with that Lunus Nodded, he slowed the Horse down to an Area deep into the forest where the Sounds of a Stream could be heard not far from where they were and they were Going down hill.

Jumping off the Horse first, Lunus soon Pulled Serene off and walked her down hill, he soon spotted a cave in the Hill, he pulled out his sword and went to go check to see if it was safe and that their wasn't a Monster. And thankfully There wasn't! "It's all clear.", he said.

Lunus didn't bother to look even though he wished he could, instead he Moved the Horse out of View and towards the cave so nothing Really Bad would happen. But it seemed the Journy was still ways away.

Lunus looked at the Arrow in his arm, he Carefully Ripped it from his skin, it Pained him but that was all her could do for now.

Lunus knew that world of the Attack on the Carriage would get out since the it had the Royal Emblem, Once Princess Serene's Father and the Kingdom of Fynn get word of this. They'll search Every corner of the World to find her.

Serene sighs, "mm better" as she finishes dressing then comes out, "mm so how does this look?" she took of most of jewelries except the ring on her finger, "mm alright i'm ready"

Lunus could hardly believe his eyes as he looked at serene, she still looked as Beautiful even without her Royal Attire, "You Look perfect.", he said as he got up to try and move towards her.

but soon a pain from his wounded arm struck and he had to clench it.

"Damn! I forgot to wrap it!", he said.

Serene looks at him, "oh my you were hit, are you ok?" she took something out of her bag and tears something, "here hold still" she wraps the cloth over his wound, "why didn't you tell me?"

Lunus smirked and then chuckled alittle "Well we were Running for our Lives. I didn't think it was important at the time!", he replied as he pressed whatever it was Serene gave him to his arm.

"So....why did you keep that ring?", he soon asked as he sits down and let's her tend to his arm.

Serene shook her head, "well maybe so but it still needs tending to", she looked over his wound and wraps it just right, "this ring? its my mother, she gave it to me when she...died i never take it off" she shook her head

Lunus looked at Serene's ring with a blake stare, his memories coming back. "You too huh?", he soon replied to her as he looked at his sword and then back at The Princess.

Serene nods, "well yeah but my father treats me like i'm still seven my mom always scolds him in the end" she chuckles a bit. She composed herself, "so! we should get going or it'd be nightfall"

Lunus nodded to princess Serene, "Night fall won't come soon. But I agree. It's best we get as far away from here and Go to an Inn.", he replied as he got up and Moved over to the horse.

It felt safe to be able to walk but they still couldn't take the Chance, Lunus walked Serene and the Horse near the Sound where water should be. The reason for this was so that they won't Over heat the horse. He in the Mean time would feed it with Small amounts of Food that was inside of a bag that hung off the Sattle.

Serene would walk beside the horse, "really after that attack over the guards i would like to be in a safe place" she reaches for her bag and munch on a cookie.

Lunus sighed. He moves over to Serene and Grabs her by the waist before lifting her pu to the Horse's Back so she can get on it. Even though he knew they needed to be in a safer place than this feeding having the Horse prepared was just as important when traveling, But it was true that she was of Royal blood and that their attackers might come looking.

"Damn! Well, I just hope we make it to a place where we can sleep at once the sun sets!", he said just as he got on Behind Serene and pushed the horse into a run.

Serene meeps as she was obviously moved, "what was that about?" she blinks, "want a cookie? you know i can walk on my own two feet"

"Yes, but like you said. You don't feel safe, your word is against mine.....So whatever you say, I'll do to the best my Abilites.", Lunus replied just as he got up behind her.

He then snapped the Horse's reigns to push it into a running. It was time to head into a Village, if they can get to one that is!

Serene would open her mouth but shut it again at this point he was right and they need to get to a town and rest up. She would give him direction to the town she was referring earlier, "I hope we get there before nightfall."

Lunus nodded in reply, "We will.", he said afterwards as he rode off deeper into the woods, this time away from the sounding of Water and the Road. They needed to get to the Inn, once there he would be able to find another way to move Serene without being spotted.

Serene would lean over his chest and looks up at him, "mm..this is quite comfy don't you think?" as they speed over the woods

Lunus looked down at Serene's face, her eyes staring into his as they rode through the forest easily, "Yes..you are.", he replied as if his mind was out of touch with the world around him.

He truly wasn't even thinking as looked at her and was bringing his Maw down to hers!

Lunus Couldn't help this feeling, never has fallen for such a Female of her status and Calibur.....nor has he kissed her with such Passion. What he had just done was a violation of a King's law. But he didn't care.

Serene would nod her head, "i can't really go back now or my dad would marry me to someone else, i made up my mind" she said smiling as she leaned against his chest.

Lunus wrapped his arm around her to hold Serene close to him and give her more Comfort. It was her choice and she allowed him to kiss her, "I guess we keep moving forward then.", he said to her. The day dragged onward as the Forest road was becoming harder to fallow, but they soon moved outta the Forest to the green Hills sides were the Ocean wasn't very far off.

It was not long when they found a new road and saw that a fishing Village was insight, and it was just in time, the day was long and was already turning into night. Even more so was that Lunus's Stomach was bare, the same had to be said for Serene and the Horse.

Serene was now sleeping over him their journey was too long then opens her eyes, "mmm...are we there yet?" she looks over sighed in relief when she saw the fishing village, her belly was making loud noises, "sorry about that"

Just when she said that Lunus's stomach Growled just as Angerly, he soon patted his belly and began to chuckle. "Your not the only one.", he replied and as far as he could tell the Horse might be feeling the same way. He soon snapped the reigns to put the Horse into running speed to quickly get to the Village's Entrance.

"I Hope they have something good to eat.", he said.

Serene nods, "ooh i do hope so at this rate i'll eat anything" patting her belly, looking around the village, "do you think anyone's here?" since its already dark she would think their already sleeping.

Lunus smiled, "There Should be. I don't think we have to worry much.", he replied as he lead the Horse towards a Barn stall that held Horses. He saw that their was someone inside who was tending to the Spaces.

Lunus soon got off the Horse to meet with the Old fur as they lead the Horse into the Stable and left it in his Care for tonight.

The Old one had also Told them there was an Inn just across from them where they could eat and sleep, Lunus Thanked the Old fur as he Gave him some Silver Coins to pay for his help just before walking Serene towards the inn.

Serene and company headed for the inn, it wasn't too shabby but they can't be too picky, "mm i do hope their still open cause my tummies been growling for some food" going through the inn doors with Lunus.

"You shouldn't need to worry. I've been to places like this before....and they only close this Place when they Don't have enough rooms.", Lunus Replied as he held Serene's hand. It was Two story Structure and was very Wide for it's size, it was somewhat in a poor state but didn't seem like it was gonna fall apart.

They Entered the Building only yo Discover that it was Much better looking on the Inside! Lunus had a Very odd, usually these's place's weren't Good to look at.

Serene was wide-eyed as the interior looks better, "wow i never expected this" she was looking around the place, then probably rings a bell to call someone to have a room so they could get settled in.

Soon a Clerk came around, she walked over to Lunus and Serene and welcomed them, Lunus decided to stay down Stairs and Order some food while Serene was shown where their room was by the Female Clerk.

The room was roomy a bit small but just right, she would put her bag on the small table, thanking the clerk as she got the key for their room, then follows the clerk to the dining room.

Lunus was sitting down with his money pouch in hand awaiting the Food that was to come to this table.

Looking at the Stairs as he saw Serene Coming back down. "I didn't know what you wanted to get, so I decided we'll get some fresh bread for now.", he said to her.

Serene nods and sits beside him, "ooh sounds good to me, butter is good for hot steamy bread" she smiles

For a Moment Lunus could feel his Ears move up as he Heard Serene's voice, it seemed very....strange to him, but lately he's been thinking more and More about Princess Serene.

He Knew it was his Job to protect her.....However now that he had Kissed her lips, he wasn't so sure his Job and anything to do with the secret they are Carrying. "Then you'll be glad he Replied slowly.

When the bread arrive, she would order a bit of meat in the occasion, she actually attacked the bread and put butter onto it. She then looks at Lunus, who was suppose to be her escort but she was really wanting to tell him something. She would lean over his ear, "i..i think i love you..." in a soft voice.

Seeing Serene eating the Bread with such savaganess Made Lunus Laugh softly as he only picked up a slice and ate slowly. When Serene whispered in his ear again she spoke that she Loved him, he didn't know how to reply for he was worried.

He could feel his Heart beating hard for Serene and yet it conflicked with his duty to Protect her on this Journy, but he couldn't lie to himself.

"Serene.....You know as well as I do, that were both different. But.....I Love you.", he said staying truthful to her.

Serene smiles with joy, she would sit closer to him as she gives him a chaste kiss on his cheek then she went on nibbling on the read.

The Meat soon Arrived at the table, The Maid tried to find a Knife for them to Cut it into slices saddly there weren't any.

Lunus Pulled out his Cutting knife and began to slice the Meat with ease, it was great feast for the two of them. But he was still worried about his Love for Serene....It was something that was never meant to be by Royal Standards and yet She was willing to take their love for each other further.

Serene purrs as she ate her hearts content, though the meat was still half finished, she was already full, now she can think clearly, "Lunus come on i should show you the room, its amazing" she was a bit animated after the meal and looks like little girl when she said it.

It seemed like The Days really took a toll on his eating since Lunus learned how to surpress his hunger making his Meal abit smaller compared to Serene's, his ears turned to Serene as he heard about the room.

He nodded since he needed to know more about this place just in case nothing bad happened. "Okay then!", he said replied to her.

Serene smiles and clutch over his paw leading him to the room, then she sits on the bed, "mm i'm feeling better" rubbing her belly, making a huge yawn.

Lunus managed to look around to get a grasp on their surroundings just before entering the room, he closed the Door behind them and looked at Serene Laying on the Bed.

"Only One Bed.", Lunus sighed, he remembered that some Inns didn't really have Two Beds since Most Travel alone on the Open Roads and Ranges. "I guess I'll sleep in the Chair.", he said to her.

Serene shook her head, "come on sleep beside me, i won't bite" she smiles she would want him beside her, "please?"

Lunus rubs his skull alittle before moving over to the bed and Laying down on his back, the bed wasn't too small and fit them both pretty well.

"Hmm...This ain't bad.", he said before he noticed she placed an arm over him.

"Isn't it? And its comfy" Serene smiles as she gives her tail a hug, "so we're still going to the town right?" lean against him

Lunus soon felt her Body getting closer, even her tail was moving around him! "I'm Not sure.", Lunus Replied as his tail Coiled around her's.

He looked into her Gentle and yet very playful eyes and Chuckled abit, "In one day you caught my eye, and this day I kissed you. Why do I feel like I should...kiss you..again?", he said as he placed his paw and her warm cheek.

Serene smiles as she leans over and kisses his lips, moving her body closer to his as her tail twitches. I guess this wouldn't surprise him...or she might be wrong but kissing him anyway.

Lunus deepens their kiss without any hestation, he was love with Serene. He moved his arms around her as his tail entwined her's, this beautiful Dragon-half was in his arms and didn't matter to him that she was of royal, and as far as he was concerned: He is protecting her!

Lunus's hands moved slowly at her waist to feel her curves even going down to feel her hips and grasp them gently as he moved her on top of him.

Lunus growled as he felt Serene press her body up to his as her maw and tongue were in contact, his tongue wrestling with her own as they held each other close with loving arms.

His feelings for her were growing as they continued to kiss and rub another's body, sometimes caressing theirs back side or even grasping Serene's rump.

As Lunus was cuddled close to Serene in deep sleep. They were both unaware of a Danger that was getting closer to them.

Near the Docks, a Ship began to make Port in town. This Ship was owned by someone who was very displeased to know that his men had Failed in trying to Capture someone of Importance to him.

Lunus slept Peacefully feeling at ease, his heart beating with Serene's on every plus.

The night was quickly changing towards daylight hour, so far their rest was uninterrupted, he soon began to open his eyes to gaze at the love of his life.

Lunus had gotten up after he felt her nuzzle him, "The King would get wind of what happened to us. And I know they would both come running, not only that. But we need to make tracks away from both Kingdoms, Hopefully the Mountains.", he said.

"But if one thing has me stumped. Who were the one's that attacked us?", he thought before grabbing his sword and sitting down.

Serene nuzzles him again and shrugs her shuolders, "well, one thing my father would track us down, thats for sure and he would hate me for disobeying him...like that would stop me from being with you" Looking at him, "maybe their after that sword your holding?" she would inquire.

Lunus shifted his eyes down to his weapon, It was indeed a rare treasure. Even he didn't know who crafted it, nor where it truly came from.

But it couldn't be it? Why would they Assult the rest of the group for just this sword?

"It's a good thought. But They seemed more interested in you.", He replied chuchling alittle....even though it wasn't funny.

"I think you and me Agree that we wasted enough time in this room. It's time to leave.", he said shortly after just as he grabbed his sheathed sword.

Serene sighs, "ok...but let me use the bathroom before we go" she stood up and went to the bathroom.

After that she went back to the room feeling a bit better, "do you really think i'm the one their after? It doesn't make sense at all" as she flings her bag over her back.

Lunus begins to pack whatever he might need as he readies to leave with Serene, "I don't know. But whoever is after you, their not regular Full-hardy thieves!", he replied expressing abit of Uncertainty.


"Let's Not speak of this matter in Public place like this. You can't be too careful about who's listening.", He soon added as he moved over to Serene to help her.

Serene nods, "ok then hehe and thanks again" she smiles as she's ready to go. "Are we still riding toward the city i told you about?" she ask to be certain.

Lunus looked at Serene with a Very puzzled look as he tried to remember. In All honesty he must have forgotten about it last night when he was next to her in bed.

"...Of Course. I just hope we don't run into anything bad on our way there.", he replied as he unlocked the door.

She nods, "yes i do hope nothing happend to us on the way" She was already ready to go, "well lets get going before something else happens" she said in a hurried accent.

Lunus nodded as he opens the door and holds her hand to guide Serene. As they moved down the hall and down the Stairs, Lunus looked back at the princess to see her gleaming smile.

He didn't know why he had fallen for her, for all he knew she might have cast a spell on him with her charms. But either way he was willing to help her.

As Lunus turned his head back, his eye's stared at an unusual group of Rogues and Rangers.
About 5 or 6 of them to be exact.

They weren't the sort to be around such a small port town, but just looking at them was giving him a bad feeling in his gut. He paid no further mind to them and walked Serene out of the pub and towards the Horse stable.

Serene walks out with him and smiles she didn't know why but she was falling for him, blushing a bit, "um.. so shall we go? Before any evil henchmen comes up?" Climbing up the horse and sighs in relief as she looks up in the sky, "it is a lovely night as the moon shines bright in the sky" smiling at that.

Lunus nodded towards Serene as they walked over to the Horses. As Lunus prepared the horse to leave, he noticed that Serene was blushing every time they looked at one another.

It wasn't confusing to see that they both were after one another's hearts. But love would have to wait since someone was tracking them down and they both needed to be a step ahead in order to become free.

"Let's go.", he said just before hopping onto the Horse and riding off out of town.

Serene nods her head as she agrees, if they stay here longer they might get killed after what they did o the guards, she shudders at that thought then shook her head, 'the sooner we leave the better' she thought to herself

It was unfortunate that they had to leave town quickly every time they would rest. But so far it looked as if no one had caught word of the Ambush on her Highness yet, they were safe but...only for this moment.

"My lady. Were going to the Mountian Trails, Once were out of reach from Fynn and your Kingdom. You'll be free to do what you like.", he said to comfort her as they continued to ride off through the dark.
