You enter into a beautiful land the grass beneath you soft and springy. Yet not one bird is chirping. No crow cackling. No foxed yelping. Nothing. You suddenly feel your stomach drop as if you where pushed off a cliff and falling into eternal darkness. You think to yourself. 'Somethings not right ...' You traverse a bit farther.. Suddenly the sight of old wolf carcasses and remains and bones of wolves and deer appear. You have now entered the terrain of the most feared and legendary pack in these lands. Do you dare enter closer. Of course you do.. Welcome to our serenity and our paradise. Where the stench of rotting flesh and decaying bone is the equivalent to others fresh pine trees and snow. We bid you welcome come join us or become lunch. A large male has been watching you with vicious hungry eyes. He leaps in front of you and snarls deeply. he then looks you over and smirks devilishly.. dips his head and says in his deep raspy voice in a most devilish tone. " Welcome.. We've been expecting you.."

This role play is based back in the 1600's when the only human around was the Native Americans in the Wyoming territory. The surrounding tribes are the Croix the Cheyenne the Massasoit and many others of the Algonquian religion. None of these humans bother us or our terrain.

Isabelle's body lifted from the ground slowly and stretched once her body lifted fully.
Shaking the cold from her fur she sniffed the air.
Her blinding sweet smelling white fur tusseled as her back arched and her tongue lolled as she yawned ferociously.
Taking a step and stretching her hind legs for just a moment as she looked to Cale her fellow pack ruler lazily sleeping in the alpha dens and his nose whistling in his sleep.
SHe heard a far off howl with an ending shriek and knew exactly whom it belonged to.
"Hanye.."

She snuffed and watched as a cloud of dust billowed from the ground as her breath swept across it and kept her slow sleepy gait to the small paw deep stream that ran through the middle of the dusty river rock covered floor of the Alpha den. Only Cale and herself where allowed in its confines.
"Cale.. Wake up..."
She heard the sounds of the rest of the pack waking up and decided to begin making her rounds of the terrain checking for intruders and the rest of the territory boundaries for sights of spies.

Vox was sleeping with Other Pack members in a group Pile, so their warmth would last through the night.

But as the morning sunlight was showing, it signaled that it was time to get up. After all, Resting in this snow was very uncomfortable for very long periods of time, But seeing that this was the only way until they could find a more suitiable spot later. Vox Got up, some of the snow falling of his back as he shook his fur free of any wetness, he then streched and yawned to bring back the feeling in his body, just as he did so he saw The Alpha Female Rise from the den.

She was moving down from her resting hole to the pack to the pack, and she seemed worried abit, He decided to at least push against the others to wake them and get a better look at their surrondings.

Kiruyo had slept about five feet from the pack alone in the snow he had shivered most of the night and a couple times tried to join the rest of the pack for warmth but was always rejected by snarls and growls. He whimpered during the cold frigid night curled up in a tight ball trying to gain all the heat he could from himself.

He woke up early his sleep wasn't that great but then again it never was he was the Omega of the pack and was seen lower then the rest of them. He had always been forced to sleep away from everyone else. He shook a good amount of snow off of his fur, gnawing at some that had froze on. He watched the alpha female and Vox wake up but didn't go near either of the two just sat there in his spot. He had heard a howl in the distance and the shriek cut off but he wasn't the one to be accepted for information.

He gave a sigh and looked about he was hungry very hungry but even if he hunted for something he would have to show the Alpha and then would end up eating last in the pack any ways.

Cale was already awake, his ears twitching almost invisibly at the baleful howl. He was one to enjoy laying there though. Even had he been surrounded by dozens of enemies, all wanting nothing more than to skin his hide, he would probably be laying there still, just waiting for one to get close enough so he could tear off his jaw and start a blood bath. No sooner had his partner left his side, had the Large male gotten up, his lithargic body stretching out, his spine popping slightly as he tilted his head back, his maw opening wide in a silent yawn.

As with everyday as the seasons progressed, the weather would progress as well. A nuance that Cale found to be rather displeasing at times. Had it been up to him, the wind would have stopped ruffling his fur and the skies would have dropped ten feet of snow on top of him, at least that would appease him for a few years. Leaves skittered about the floor of the cave, dancing and tumbling over pebbles as the outside light of the world coated the inside realm of the cave with a setting that only an artist.....or a rather lonely old man could have created. Moving out of the shelter, his eyes shifting, taking in the world around him, black fur billowing about a nearly ethereal form, he could tell that the days of aggression were drawing nearer. It would mean hard times for the pack.....it would test them, push them, bring them closer....or tear them apart. Either way, it would be a life changing experience for everyone. As one lonely leaf tumbled past him, Cale found himself moving in a hastened pace, a small jaunt that would take him to the outer rings of the territory, the scents, and smells....telling him stories, weaving together tales unseen, secrets unheard. They were out there, watching him, watching all of them, waiting for their chance to strike at the exposed throat of complacency. It was a thought that ellicited a snuff from nose of the Alpha-male, allowing him to turn in time to see his counter part across the way, doing her rounds. If she was out here, then all would be well, she was strong enough to fend for herself, should she become out numbered, Cale would easily give his own life to ensure her survival, at least she had the chance of bringing a new leader into the pack, better for her to survive than him. Turning around, he slowly made his way back to the caves, the pack needed to be informed, given their duties for the day, reassured that everything was alright. And Cale, he needed to keep in check the balances of food, resources, security, everything had to be maintained here, when a territory this large was governed by one pack, there were always problems brought in by the morning mists.

Isabelle padded softly her nostrils flaring as she sniffed and padded even farther suddenly the air caught something.
"Hanye,"
She turned her head and sniffed again.
It was a far of scent of thier neighboring pack was just a little stronger than usual but still far off.
It was either the wind or they where getting closer.

Soon her sentinel job was finished and she made her way home.
Her white fur blended with the surroundings with the exception of the green stripes on her back and the pouch around her neck.

As she walked past the group of her pack mates she said simply.
"Get up and get ready. This is the first hard snow. We're going for a hunt The rabbits haven't shed thier fur yet so they will be the easiest to snag."
She kept walking and returned to her solace of the Alpha dens and shook the snow from her fur and drank from the small stream.

Cale listened, already pacing about the interior of the cave, something weighing heavily on his mind, an issue he would not share with the others, at least not now. It would be good for them to hunt. They would have to bring in a great deal of food. The outside territories already knew that the best way to snuff out the life of this region was by cutting off its food supply. Thus early hunting would be essential.

Looking out of the corner of his eyes, Cale focused on his Alpha Female. She was strong, courageous, endearing, everything that was needed from her. She was a great leader, well respected to boot. She was the perfect fall back, Cale's ace in the hole should he ever lose his life. As long as she remained in good health, the pack would be successful even if he was gone.

"Isabelle.....to the far east, following the river a herd of elk have wandered into our lands. Force them inwards, away from the territory lines. If we can keep them inside our lands, it will provide a longer lasting food source when added to the rabbits. More action must be taken before the first hard snow."

Cale was a cautious leader, he never took chances, he knew that if something could go wrong, it would, and at every given opportunity.

"Scent markings will keep them in too. Get the males and tell them to drink up after we eat. We have marking to do any way. Your sisters scent is a little to strong for comfort." Her ears where slicked back and her eyes narrowed. She stretched once more and looked out of the hole and to the others. Snorting as a snow flake landed on her fleshy black nose and melted she lowered her hind end to sit on all fours and bring a back paw to scratch just behind her shoulder blade. Her fluffy white tail now beating behind her she was mentally readying her self for the hunt.

"Hmph, sometimes, I actually think she might be more of an agsty bitch than you."

Cale said this, with a joking tone, a gleam in his eye as he sat next to the female. A resounding crunch echoed through the cavern as snow broke loose from the over hang, falling down and coating Cale. Normally, he might have said something, but, this was definitely a fitting end to a smart ass remark. As if Karma just never got tired.

"Don't worry, they'll get the job done..."

He retorts, a sheet of snow falling off his head, letting his ears stand up once more.

Vox looked at about as Isabelle forced the others to wake and he soon Noticed Cale Perched over their heads looking down.

Their was a Rumbling in the Bellies of All the Pack mates and Vox knew well that their was only one thing to do every Morning, They Hunted. And Hopefully they would find Large Prey, Rabbit wouldn't last among a Starving Crowd, Only Pups would get a Meal out of it!

Vox walked up, he Knew he had no place in the Den or even Near it, but he needed to Ask Cale something important. He bowwed his head to show respect, "What are we to do today.", he asked and waited calmly for the Anwser.

If Cale Didn't Give him any, he would only Bow and take his leave.

He whimpered slightly looking at the already snowy ground. The first big snow... He pawed at the ground that was something he hated big snows. He wouldn't be allowed to sleep near the resp of the pack or at least wanted to they would tear him apart. He would half to sleep by himself and hope he could keep himself warm enough.

He watched as Isabelle waked the pack he kept his eyes down in respect knowing it would be bad if he got her angry or he showed disrespect. Once he heard that it was time for them to hunt he would be lucky if he was able to eat a decent meal every once in a while he thought about sneaking one of his catches but never actually did. He saw Vox get up and go into the Den he wondered what it was like in there and was almost tempted to go inside of it or just be able to peak into it. He started moving slowly to it hoping none of the others would see him. His pure white furred paws sinking into the snow delicately without a sound.

Watching the awakening pack mates, it was truly the start of a new day. Shaking the snow off him and watching as Vox made his way to the two alphas, bowing before Cale and posing the question of their duties.

"Today will be a more busy day than the usual. We need to be motivated, moving with purpose. Our first and for most task before anything is to secure our borders, my sister.....she draws closer. Mark the borders with your scent, drink plenty of water. This should also trap in any prey. To the east along the river is a heard of elk, we will take down one for now, a male, leave the female, there may be other males around to breed her, that will keep us in supply of large game for a while. Throughout the day, make note of anything that you can use to create a warm shelter, we will all be needing it soon enough."

Isabelle snorted as the sleeve fell on his black coat and stood and walked past him her tail high in the air as if saying 'Haa haa Dumb ass'.

She listened to everything her other half had to say and quickly piped up with her say so after he was finish.

"The Scent markings will also confuse the elk and keep them in our terriory in fear of going near the scent ring and near wolves when in actuallity we have them corraled like pets to pick of when ever we wish. Also I have already come up with a solution to the cold. I will be digging a den for you all to sleep in well all be shedding our summer fur soon so lets make sure we groom inside the dens and keep the fur inside so we have a bit of insolation. Now. Shall we? Now there is no limit to rabbits. We all know theres plenty and fox too. " She smirked as she began to trot in circles warming her body. She smirked softly and twitched and ear. With her final circle she shook her snow laden pelt again and rolled in a muddy area of snow to quickly mask her scent. Now brown and her soft fur lumped with muddy clay she began her way torwards the dense thickets for her own personal favorite type of game. Quail and other fowl. It would give everyone a good bit of nutrition if she caught enough of them.

It was clear to Vox what needed to be done today, and as Soon as Cale was ready to lead the pack, The hunt Would begin.

Indeed Today was going to be very hard, the Snow was thick and would hinder their mobility, But The sound of fresh Elk meat clinged to Vox's ears and it would be well worth the Effort to try and Hunt one. "Hmm...Then I will ready our Hunting party in the meantime." Vox said just before Bowwing to him and leaving out of the den.

Even though having Elk meat in the stomach sound well and good, Scenting the borders alone with another Pack somewhere in the Area was very Dangerous, but needed to done.

Kiruyo watched as Vox came out of the den and instead of trying to look inside of it watched where he was walking. Kiruyo walked slowly threw the deep snow making his way to Vox hoping he wouldn't mind him talking to him. Once he got somewhat close he kept his ears and tail down. "Vox...may i ask what it is that we will be doing." He knew chances where that he wouldn't be able to get near the alphas to ask them. He kept his eyes down waiting for his response.

He figured it was about time for them to start hunting

Vox's Attention was turned towards Kiruyo, he Always noticed how timid he was and never truly spoke to Others. This would be the first time they actually spoke to one another. "Well...Today isn't going to be easy, but it would worth it. Cale and Isabelle want the Borders Scented. Were also going to hunt, rabbits, Fowl, and A Male Elk.", Vox Anwsered.

"Let's Go With the Alpha Female. Food is needed for the Pack now.", he added.

Isabelle's body and muscle shook as she flew across the frozen ground her pelt shacking as all four paws kissed the ground for a split second to only return to the air as she bounded across the thickets near the beginning of the forest on her side of the territory the only thing that separated the two warring packs. Thick dense acres of forest full of abundant pickings of food. She barked and rushed bushes to flush the birds from their nest and snapped her teeth at the bushes. Suddenly a berry bush fluttered and bursted with with fluttering wings and scared cackling. Her body bounded and landed atop a fat juicy male Pheasant and she quickly grabbed it by its head and shook it like a pup with with a stick in its mouth. Its neck was broken and immobile. A squabbling hen pranced in circles flapping her wings in panic due to the chicks in the nest. She quickly pounced the hen and gave it the same treatment that she gave the cock.

[Haa Haa Cock.]

Gathering the male by its wing and the hen by its neck it still twitching and wondered what she should do with the chicks. Maybe she would take the pups on a hunting and pouncing practice.

After a ten minute trot she saw the dens and made her way to the den to start on the digging for the sleeping dens. She couldn't loose any of her pack members to the cold.

It seemed that just after he said and tried to gather a hunting pack, did the Alpha Female come back with Two Fowl!

Vox was shocked, she seemed faster on her feet then even he was! The Fowl were a Big, both Roster and Hen. But it didn't seem like much was to fill the Roaring groans of the stomach!

Vox decided to deny his share of the birds after the leaders would take their bites. It was a stupid idea to even do so, but it didn't matter to him. Before Vox became a Member of this pack, he had to survive on Smaller prey when he roamed the lands and sometimes he went a few days without any food in his belly at all and had to just drink water!

Kiruyo nodded to Vox and said no more his attention changed to see that the Alpha Female had come back with two fowl and his tail wagged lightly. Hopefully if we catch enough there might be something for me to eat at the end of it all. He didn't bother going up and waiting for his share he knew it was not going to be enough to feed the entire pack so by the time it came his tones it would be mere bones and feathers left.

He wondered when he should start not knowing exactly where he should go or where he should hunt he would wait on orders from the alpha or someone else to tell him where to go.

Isabelle placed the Fowl in the snow and buried it with more to keep it fresh.
She turned and trotted towards the males still standing around. She nooded her head to the females of the pack and shook the snow from her fur seeing her ladies where ready.
"Cale, I bet my big plump pheasant over there that my girls come back with more food than you and your males." She loved daring him. It was their bit of Alpha competition. They always made sure to keep each other on their toes.

Stealthy movement carried the ivory fatale silently deeper into this new territory,amber hues glancing around wearily as the gentle breeze danced in the boughs of the beautiful trees. It had been awhile since she had seen anything remotely like this, most like her place of birth, but she had been fighting to make a new life for herself alone in this harsh world because of her father. A vile and insolent wolf of low rank, he was not much of a father to her and her siblings, yet she was the one whom escaped his madness. The others on the other hand, were not quite as lucky. So onward her paws carried her and farther into the unallied forests she went.

As she scanned the evidence of this coming winter, her ebon tipped ears perked at the lulling sound of the sparrows and jays in their hidden sancutary of the multi-colored leaves. The sound of a babbling brook was also evident in the close proximity and her tongue lolled out from between parted jaws at such a temptation. But she chose to move on and find a bit of food before hunkering down for the night. At least with a meal in her stomach, if she came upon an aggressive loner or a pack for that matter, she could die content and somewhat happy.

She veered to the left and entered an isolated glen, surrounded by the woods and that quaint birdsong. Lifting her muzzle to the air, she breathed in deep of the fragrant air in search of some prey to soothe the burning hunger in her belly. A gentle, almost unaudible sound of a twig snapping penetrated through the birdsong and came to her keen ears. She leapt in to that direction in hopes of eleviating her burning need to feed. A flash of dark grey blurred through the brush, but it was not fast enough to escape the famished female. She devoured the rabbit with gluttonous flourish,relishing the taste of fresh meat and the warmth that it would give her later on tonight. Laying down on her belly, she licked at her messy paws, cleaning up the gore from her breakfast. Breathing a soft exhale at the darkening sky, she laid her head down on her paws and hoped things would improve even further fairly soon.

Ebon paws barely touched the ground as the creature made his silent passage through the thick grove of trees that began in the Northern part of this new found territory. He searched the surrounding brush with chilled eyes, taking in the wonderful scenery as he rushed forth. A thin breeze gently caressed the male's deeply hued pelt, sending a slight shiver down his spine. He faltered on his feet, turning his head slightly at the faint scent that he encountered as he broke through the forest. It had been awhile since the scent of others had mingled within his sharp muzzle, causing a quick jerk as he sneezed. Lifting his muzzle heavenward, he drew in deep of the clean air and brought forth a solitary message to those in the surrounding area as he exhaled...This creature has found a home if the Ancestors Above so allow.


The brute cocked his head slightly into the gentle breeze, listening closely as his echo resounded across the valley, but also listening for a return greeting or perhaps even..retaliation. Hearing no reply to his song, he paced momentarily in a fit of frustration and confusion. After regaining some of his thought, he started towards the center of the territory in hopes of locating any individual that may key him into his new surroundings. Delibrately taking his time to engrain the majestic beauty of this land into the farther most part of his brain, he happened upon a small stream.


Perfect...perhaps someone will happen upon here eventually so I do not run the risk of having my throat ripped out.

Issuing a soft chuckle, he moved towards the crystalline waters to ease the dryness of his throat. After giving a quick survey around him, he lowered his muzzle to the water as his pink tongue lolled from his massive jaws in anticipation of lacking his thirst.

Isabelle placed the Fowl in the snow and buried it with more to keep it fresh.
She turned and trotted towards the males still standing around. She nooded her head to the females of the pack and shook the snow from her fur seeing her ladies where ready.
"Cale, I bet my big plump pheasant over there that my girls come back with more food than you and your males." She loved daring him. It was their bit of Alpha competition. They always made sure to keep each other on their toes.

Vox looked at Isabelle as she proposed a Challage between Males and Females, an Unusual Challage but a Challage none the less. Vox moved up, "Does this sort out who is the best at hunting....and who be consitered a proper Mate?", he asked her, alittle curious at what she truly had in mind for the pack.

It seemed like a good Idea, split the Pack and hunt for as much food as could be found within the Area. More food for all.

"Well, We could put that up in the bragging for the winning team. I was thinking for a little fun. But yes. I do need to find a new Head hunter." Her tail stilled as she spoke. She huffed the air as a tone floated in the air when she spoke. Her ears perked and her hind dropped. It sounded familiar.

[Alphaleader]

An Effort was to be made for the Status that Isabelle proposed, and a Mate would certainly be another great advantage to the reward for such hard work. More and more Vox was liking the sound of it and Hopefully Cale wold agree to such an Offer.....Even though he already had his mate. But Vox knew there was more to their relationship.

Soon his attention swifted as he noticed that Isabelle could hear something, "What's wrong?", he asked just before looking about on both of his sides.

"A wolf is on the terrain. Not one of ours."
Her nose flexed as she sniffed the air.
She barely had his scent but she had it and thats all that mattered.
Ears lowered and her nose twitching to the left due to a snow flake landing on it she rose her hind end and eyed Cale devilishly. "Maybe even Mr. Leave me alone can find a mate after the hunt. He can have whom ever he wants anyway. He is alpha male.." A sigh escaped her lips with a bit of a laugh on her lips.

[Alphaleader]

"A stranger?", he said. He soon nodded to her, they all knew what to do when a Stragguler came around: Either attack him to run him off their Territory, or Kill him where he stood.
"...Just give the word.", he said to Isabelle and Cale and knew not to disappoint them.
Such was the Nature of all Packs that were lead by Alpha Male and Female who Domain over their ground.

But the same couldn't be said for Vox, for he was once a Stranger to this Pack before he became apart of it!

"Go ahead.."
She smirked and watched his form.

[Alphaleader]

Vox Nodded to Isabelle before calling Kiruyo and a couple of other wolves to his side, "Come with me. We have a Stranger on our Territory. Find him, and Run him off!", he ordered as he guided the Pack to the Stranger, fallowing the scent as it was growing ever stronger in the woods.

Talan now was wondering the land. He smelt a female. Also blood with her scent. He wasn't to enamored with it because it didn't smell to be wolves blood nor was the scent of adrenaline or fear in the air.
He picked up the sound of light trickling of water and decided to find it source to have a cool drink. His lithe black body rippling underneath his pelt.

Indra had been running for a day without rest, he didn't know where he was nor did he care as he ran through the land. It was quite which was a bit strange to him as the lands he came from were much more vibrant. With his chest hurting he stopped next to a group of rocks, and sat panting. His eyes scanned the area but no on insight, the blue line on his fur shimmered lightly in the little light there was, he decided to go and find something to drink or at least eat and set out towards the scent of what he though would be a river or stream of some sort,with a quick streach and instead or running he walked down a small hill, sniffing the air for the smell of water.

Kiruyo heard that an intruder had come listening to their conversation and looked down. Maybe now...i can prove to be more use...maybe ill no longer be an omega... His ears perked up with the thought and he dashed after Vox like he had called. His tail wagging hoping maybe he would be accepted by the pack after this..if he could help.

[Alphaleader]

Vox ran into the forest with his pack mates behind him, running towards the Growing scent with a mind set on driving whoever it was out of the their area, the determined look in his eyes only seemed to comfirm this!

He moved swiftfully on his paws, getting closer...and closer to the Stranger. But soon his sense of smell began to vex him, he couldn't tell, Was their one of them....or two!?

Whatever the number, they had to leave!

He drew in deep of the refreshing, cool liquid and chuckled softly in pleasure as his parched throat was soothed. Dark ears twitched at the gentle rustling of the brush not that far from where he drank, sending a chill down his spine and signalling his hackles to rise. He paused drinking and raised his ebon cranium rather slowly, adverting his eyes and swirling his ears into the sounds general direction. What he first saw was a lone wolf in what appeared to be a stalking posture moving from the bushes, a deep rumble began to build in his throat slowly building from his chest. Shifting his feet to face the newcomer, he felt as his sharp talons dug deep into the soft earth...until the bark. It had an almost naive sound to it, more questioning than agressive, but from his experience one can not trust first appearances. As the wolf neared, he noticed that he was dealing with a male and the one behind him as well.

A scout perhaps? Or maybe just a loner like yerself, ye stupid mutt?

He snarled inwardly, feeling slightly ashamed for his behaviour here. But he was in new lands, and that did require a certain amount of caution.

"Whom are ye and what do ye so desire that ye would sneak up on an unfamiliar and perhaps even dangerous subject? "

He snorted slightly and backed up a step, placing more space between the two of them. Cool blue hues stared back from the dark recesses of his cranium, awaiting their reply or challenge.
The female he still scented but the scent was wavering in the air so she was on the move. Soon it could be an ambush. And the only way there would be this many wolves in one area was if there was a pack some where.
The low grumble rekindled its self after he took a breath and bore a few pearly whites. He smelt adrenaline in the air. Some one was nervous. Very nervous..

"Don' be tellin me that yer Alpha's sent the under belly of the pack to check up on a strang'er."

[Alphaleader]

Vox and his Pack mates were arriving to greet the Intruder, and it seemed this Wolf could tell with ease that he wasn't the Alpha Male. Vox growled lowly at the wolf, his smell still sniffing around for that Female scent, but she was not here and only this stranger was.

"Leave. This Ground is of our territory! If you don't, then well be forced to run you out!!", Vox said as he and his Group were circling the wolf.

"Just to let you know. Their is another way. But Only the Alpha can Accept you.", he said.

Talan snuffed loudly his teeth still bore. He could easily take care of these two easily. His hackles still raised and legs still stiff. "I believe as a protector of yer pack yeh are to wound first 'nd be askin questions later. Especially if yer apart of the pack I hear to be 'round 'ere. Either that or this be a ambush and tryin to get me off me guard."

He ebony skull was still chest level no growl was eminent and the females scent was suddenly closer.

Jinkaru hear the disturbance that was happening not to far away. She padded toward the ruckus licking her cream colored maw free of blood but just a little stained with rabbits blood. Every movement was silent and fluid.
Soon she appeared through the rambles directly behind the surrounded male.
In a cool un nerved voice she said. "Vox, Kiruyo, Is everything alright? Does Isabelle know he's here?" She didn't move from her position it was calm and collected and quite uncaring about the situation period. Her fluffy thick fur blew in the winter breeze and collected small snowflakes all over her body and her rump suddenly was relaxing on the ground as she sat down and placed her tail next to her feet at her right side.

Just when Vox readied his Stance to try and rush this Wolf, his ears soon shot up as he heard the voice of the Female who's scent was mixed in the Air. It was a Familier Voice that clinged to his ears.

He soon turned his head to look at who called his name, "Who's There!?", Vox shouted calling out the Female.

"Jinkaru, You all really are idiots. Can't you remember a pack mate." She shook her head and eye balled the trespasser.

"You know you cost me a quiet breakfast."

Snow breezed past the weather torn brush of the forest, a large snow drift shifting momentarily as a darkening figure made its way to the top, distorted in a rush of frost. Cale had been listening from afar the entire time. Watching how his pack handled themselves. He was pleased at their work. Looking from them to the intruder, the scent of a most familiar wolfess in the area. "This is no place four out-landers....grunt." Cale spoke, raising his voice above the others. Watching everyone, everything, but most importantly, waiting, for her.

Kiruyo of course due to the his rank in the pack was also the most timid and he said nothing when the chance finally rose up for him to prove himself. His heart beat faster as more pack mates joined them to go against the intruder and right as he was about to say something his ears swiveled hearing Cale. His entire form went down his head drew back slightly and his ears went down. Right when he was going to say something right when he was going to speak he had been denied and he hated himself for this knowing this was why he wasn't accepted as equal as everyone else he was to timid and as an Omega there wasn't much room to improve on that.

Isabelle trotted slowly behind Cale and quirked her head as she saw the male and Jinx standing behind him.
"Well well well, Talan, Looks like Cale has sealed your future. Now what are you doing here."

She now stood next to Cale and her eyes locked with their trespasser.

Cale merely let one of his front paws, rest on her's for no more than a second, letting the alphaess know of his appreciation of her being there. He never tried to show public affection, but in cases like these, it was better to express it and raise moral than hide it from the pack. "Isabelle poses a very good question Talon....what will you do. A simple messenger perhaps, sent to another pack, and here you are, surrounded by hunters, far greater than yourself. Infact, I could think of a far better use for your pelt than just for you to be wearing it, with the winter coming, our pups may get cold, your fur could prevent that." Cale gave a toothy grin, biding his time, waiting for his sister to make her appearance.

Talon was suddenly surrounded. Now he was having a bit of an issue.
He wouldn't be able to take them all and. Why on earth was Isabelle here?
"Well well, I doth believe I 'ave traversed in the wrong parts."
He smirked and looked over Isabelle and then to the menacing brute next to her.
"Cale is it? So is this yer lovey?"
He flinched as he suddenly saw the pure white females teeth show behind curled lips and a low growl and stepped back showing he meant no harm by the question.

Kiruyo watched in silence and closed his eyes for a second allowing him some time to think about what he was about to try. "Cole, Isabelle...if i can...may i take care of this wolf." His voice was timid he obviously didn't talk much and was a bit nervous but he wanted to show he could be more then an omega. He wanted to try to get out of the rank as an omega. His tail twitched slightly he was sure everyone around knew he was nervous.

Looking down to the omega, Cale slowly brought his vision back to the foreign wolf, then gave a quick glance to his surroundings. No, now was not the time for a fight. Not unless it was absoluetly necessary. The pack needed to conscerve as much energy, using only what they needed to get the most essential tasks done. This wolf would only serve to hinder them down the road if they entered into battle with him.

"No Kiruyo, show you are the stronger wolf by letting him go. A true warrior holds an understanding for all life. Even the most useless of such." The latter of the comment was accented heavily in regards to the entering wolf. "Head back to the den, begin to organize the materials we have already gathered, taking iniative, that is what makes a true leader."

Cale kept his eyes on the forest beyond everyone else, continuing to wait. The wind blowing his fur in waves across his body.

Isabelle smiled at Cale's words and nodded her head. She snorted and shifted her attention to Talan. She had known him he was from up in the mountain packs.
Something must have happened for him to leave. he wasn't a bad wolf, Not exactly non trust worthy but not exactly Un trustable.
"Well, whats your purpose. Just to stalk me out or are you trying to find refuge? And Jinx, Act like your actually bothered that someone just tresspassed on your home." She sneered at the female and sat her haunches to the cold ground.

"Well winter is here, Obviously. And a warm place ter sleep would be lovely. So." He then laid on the ground before the alpha's being sure he was lower than thier shoulders and laid on his side as a show of submission and acknowledgement of who was alpha and who was in charge. "Yer lucky I'm fond of ye Isabelle not many a wolf has seen me do this." His tail patted softly awaiting an answer.

"Hmph...if only my sister would be so easily swayed."
Cale stated as he watched the show. Still leary about this whole thing being a trap, but none-the-less, the wolf had managed to fully capture his attention. Another wolf, especially one from outside the territories, meant more work. A lot more. They would have to devote have their time to keeping a constant watch on him, and the other half devoted to training him into the ways that things proceeded here in this pack.
....but maybe...two birds could be killed with one stone.

"Kiruyo, step forward." Cale spoke, looking from the newer wolf over to the omega.

"Your sister is also as if not a stubborn as you."
She watched a Jinkaru seemed to be in different sorts today. Perhaps it was just the sudden change in climate.
She neverminded it and dismissed her with a nod and watched as Jinkaru dissapeared into the woods.
Something was wierd with that wolf. But then again what wolf wasn't.

"Well, Talan. If your asking what your asking and mean it you will be earning your keep until we can prove that your not the Demon's spy."
She then stood shook snowflakes from her matching pelt and eyed her paw as she could still feel Cale's warmth on it even though he no longer touched it. He was out of sorts too. Mister big meanie was starting to be sweet.
Weakness. Thats all. She snorted as she thought of it and scowled a bit to her self. Oh how she hated everything that camed with the damed words including the letters that created the words, If she knew what a letter was that is.

Vox with drawed his command now that the Alphas Cale and Isabelle were here to see who this Stranger was and command the situation, there was no need for a fallower such as he to be in a commanding position, and like a Shadow. He waited and watched.

A deep Vexsation came over Vox as he watched the events unfold before him, the Aphas new of this Wolf!? And what of the Female that called his name? Was it a trick of the senses or was it Isabelle. Or it was may have been his own thoughts that toyed with him and his hearing. Nothing sounded worse then Old Age!

Soon Kiruyo stepped up to Offer a Challage to Cale to face the Wolf! It was a Surprise indeed, it showed that he was improving himself, but Cale turndown was honorable. It may not have seem that way, but truly it was.

Hopefully his friend will prove himself someday, but as this Unuausal Event continued, Vox could only wonder.....What Purposes did this Stranger come for?

Kiruyo listened to what the Alpha male said and nodded softly to him stepping forward as asked. He looked towards the intruder that was laying down submissively and listened to them talk about the possibility that the intruder may be a spy.

Kiruyo stayed up front he was nervous and timid anyone around could tell but he tried to hide it. "What is it you wish for me to do" He asked keeping his ears down as well as his tail as he spoke to the Alpha male showing the respect that he deserved. He wondered why the alpha had him step forward if he had turned down his offered challenge to the wolf.
