It was the first day of high school for Mitch since he had moved to Ansen with his family - mother Daisy and younger twin sisters Rose and Petal. He was on campus, and everyone was giving him weird looks, since he was the new guy. He heard the school bell ring, and headed to his first class - creative writing.

He ran down the hall, holding onto his satchel bag and books, and made it in time before class started. He found an empty seat and desk beside a shorter fur - a dark brown haired clouded leopardess, who was listening to an iPod, and he checked her out. She was very pretty and he saw she had a lettered jacket on. She must be a cheerleader or do some kind of sport in high school to get something as special as the jacket with the school initial.

"Hi there. I'm Mitch. What's your name?" he asked the leopardess, getting out his laptop, turning it on, and selecting the writing program from the desktop and selected a new page and he waited for the teacher to begin.

Mitiselli eyed the wolf for a short second before she took off her headphones. "Hi, Mitch, my name is Mitiselli" she smiled brightly and held out a paw in friendship

Mitch shook her paw and smiled broadly at her. She was very pretty and he knew that they would get along great - or so he hoped...

"So, what stuff are we doing in creative writing today Mitsi?" he asked her, as Mitch got out his laptop from his satchel bag, set it up and turned it on. He went into a word processing program and he showed Mitsi his first full chapter of his action story - about a young wolf who found a hoard of gold guarded by clouded leopardesses in the eastern Himalayan mountains while on an expedition to climb Mount Everest with his climbing party of friends.

"I got bored last night, so I wrote this up... You like action stories do you Mitsi?" he asked her, as he glanced at the leopard for the second time.

Mitiselli giggled lightly at the nickname Mitch had give her.

"I think today we are starting poetry, do you like to write poems?" She looked over at him with a smile in her eyes, noticing the story on his laptop. After listening to his synopsis of the book she skimmed over the story for a bit, and found that it was fairly entertaining. "You write very well Mitch" she said with a blush when she noticed the wolf looking at her again.

"Well, yeah I do have a few poems around - mostly about how it would feel to be a wolf in the wild and not tame and having to learn and do human things..." Mitch said, as he looked at the leopardess once more. The teacher was up the front writing today's poem on the board. "Oh, and I like war poetry too - I feel that kind of poetry is the best, because the writer is there when the sequence of events in the poem happen in real life and have real life consequences..."

She mused "I write love poems, deep, beautiful, metaphorical, written for the one person that holds you heart forever. I have always wanted someone to write a true love poem to me." She smiled sadly, and looked into Mitch's eyes intensely.

"Well... let me see if I can write one for you okay Mitsi?" Mitch said, as he was lost in her big brown eyes. He got out his pen and put it to paper and began to jot down ideas for her love poem. "I'd like some help if you don't mind hun..." he said, looking into her brown eyes once more for some kind of inspiration.

"So, you been with anyone you truly love before??? I was, then she left me for my best friend, when she found out he was a hero - I'm going overseas in a bit to serve the country as a fighter pilot in the air force..." he said happily.

[Kindiloria]

She giggled, "How can you write a love poem for someone you've only know for five minutes?" still giggling a little, she asked brightly "What kind of help?"

... she started hesitantly, "There was one time.. I loved him, but.. Thats been over for awhile, and I try not to think of the past." She smiled back at him to reassure him. "Really? Overseas, hmm, when are you leaving?

"You are a beautiful leopardess, and I want to write a poem about your beauty and the help I'm looking for is how your love life is at the moment, if you'll be kind enough to let me do it..." he said to her, smiling broadly. "I leave in one year to go to flight school, then I'll be going to advanced training, then I'll be up for type training on their F-15 Eagle single seater fighter, then I'm off over there, and I'll probably be there for a year, then I'll come home and then go back for a second tour of 12 months, then I hope I'll be able to come back, finish up college, and go into becoming a pilot instructor hopefully..." he said.

He then showed her a photo of him in his brand new pilot suit - "Lieutenant Mitchell J. Rogers, 1505th Fighter Wing, United States Air Force,"

"Thank you for calling me beautiful" She smiled at him, with a bit of a blush "But right now my love life is practically non-existant, so yeah" She gave a hesitant smile

She listened in awe of all of his plans, "That all sounds so interesting. You seem very dedicated." She then looked at the picture he showed her, wow she thought, he is really cute in a uniform.

"I'll let you keep it... so whenever you need someone to think about, think of me - over there fighting for you and the other people, so you can live without fear..." he said in a patriotic voice, tucking the photo into her paw. He looked at her and paused, taking in all of her beauty. "Umm, you got a photo of you that I can stick in the cockpit, so I can look at you when I'm on a mission?"

She smiled down at his picture in her paw. "Thank you Mitch, I will keep this forever," she said slipping into her binder "You sound very sure of yourself and very sure of what you want to do. But you could die couldnt you?" she asked a bit sadly.

When he asked about a picture of her, she dug into her purse and got out her wallet, inside was a picture of her in her cheerleading uniform. Her mom had taken it a week ago, in their front yard, before the football game. "There you go, a picture of me." She smiled at him widely, flashing her teeth, not realizing the fact that she was seriously flirting with him.

"No worries Mitsi," Mitch said, as he got on with doing his creative writing - he was trying not to get distracted by Mitsi, but he couldn't help it. She was really nice once you got to know her, and she obviously liked him a lot... He stopped and turned towards Mitsi and whispered. "Mitsi, I really like you, and I am just wondering if I could take you out on a date sometime..." he finished his words and felt himself blushing a deep red and looked away until his embarrassment had subsided.

Just as he finished asking the question the bell rang. She quickly stood up and began putting stuff in her bag, turning away from him to hide her excitement. She slung her backpack over her shoulder and turned to Mitch. "Of course I will go on a date with you!" She wrote her cell phone number down on his paw, then kissed his cheek and happily skipped out of the room.

Mitch blushed - this was the first time a girl had ever said yes to him. He got his satchel bag and ran out of the class, following her. He caught up with her and walked beside her. "You didn't think I'd let you get away that easy??" he asked her, as he wrapped an arm around her shoulder. "You can't get rid of me that easily Mitsi..." he laughed and pulled her close and kissed her.

"I was actually hoping you would follow me. She smiled at him kissing her. "I know that it is only your first day here, but do you maybe want to cut class and come hang out with me?"

"Any time with you Mitsi is a good time..." Mitch said to her as he'd waited to see where they would be going to hang out together. The one thing on Mitch's mind was spending the rest of his first day with her - and nothing would stop him from having it that way, well, the teachers might, but he didn't care.

Mitiselli led Mitch to a woodsy area behind the school, she went here alot to think, there was a small clearing that she had made up herself. there was a concrete block where she would sit and draw or write. She motioned Mitch to follow her and sat down on it. When he sat next to her she leaned her head on hi shoulder.

"This is really nice Mitsi," he said, leaning on her shoulder, and wrapping his arms around her waist. "I love you Mitsi - when you wanna go on this date?" he asked the clouded leopard, licking her cheek and snuggling into her.
