“Fatherhood”
1st Verse
What’s a father to do, what’s a father to do/When his heart is still broken in two/Sure his three cubs bring him comfort/But raising them by himself is still a lot of work/He keeps wondering why did his partner leave him/Why did his partner deceive him/It’s been so long, he can’t even remember the reason/The family just doesn’t feel the same/Most of the love has been replaced with pain/I know my pups are wondering where there other father’s at/But how do I tell them that he ain’t comin’ back/Especially when sometimes I refuse to believe that/I think about him everyday knowing that things weren’t supposed to be this way/I trusted him with everything I had, not expecting to be left behind as a single dad/But there’s no time to act like a child/Especially when I still have three wonderful reasons to smile
Hook: As long as my pups are happy then everything is all good/As long as they’re still here I’ll always cherish my fatherhood/They’re always number one when it comes to a place in my heart/There’s nothing on this Earth that could ever tear us apart/I promise to protect them from any danger that occurs/It’ll be easy cause a father’s love always works wonders/No more tears and regret over past mistakes/I got the three of you to make me happy and that’s all it takes
2nd Verse
I cant keep living in the past/Especially when my pups are growing up so fast/They’re going to be a year old soon/Almost time for their first howl at the moon/Thinking about it makes me tear up with joy/This is the kind of love that no one can ever destroy/But if they ever threaten it, I’ll hunt them down with no mercy/It’ll be the last time that someone hurts me/But my pups aren’t pushovers either/I know that one day Tamaska is going to make a great leader/Also Twilight just keeps getting stronger and braver/While Frostfur seems to have some things up his sleeve but he’s always on good behavior/Regardless of their strengths, I’d be willing to sacrifice myself for them in a heartbeat/But I think if we stay together there wont ever be a chance of defeat/I have great confidence in this small pack of ours/Together we can go as far as the stars

With all the negativity left behind in the dust/It feels like a new beginning for all of us/My pups are looking beautiful with their fur glistening in the sun/I can tell that their spirits are high and its not just because they’re about to turn one/They look like they’re prepared for just about anything/Could this be a result of how well I taught my offspring/Did I place all that fire in their hearts/Did I give them the courage to bear their teeth which are razor sharp/No, some of this had to be learned on their own/But perhaps I gave them encouragement with all the love I shown, and just when you think they’re about to leave the nest/They pounce on their teacher and tell him he’s the best/I wipe a tear from my eye and play with my loves till the moon is high in the sky/We howl at the same time but I notice they’re doing it louder, which only makes me more prouder
