Until I get a job, I can't go about getting a domain name, so I was wondering if you furs know of a good site to host me.
I do know, and do not like:
Geocities
Freewbs
Piczo
Thanks in advance!

Is angelfire still around? They used to do free hosting IIRC. You could also try Bravenet (http://www.bravenet.com/).

i have one on angelfire, haven't figured out how to build it yet. they don't give you much space though. i've seen bravenet and used their free messageboards.

Blegh. I don't like angelfire or tripod. They have ads to end all ads

as long as you got a good connection and depending on what you want to serve ... i usualy just serve it myself and use no-ip.com (http://www.no-ip.com) for the domain :p
like my current site ... http://jonnsoothsayer.servehttp.com
oh and as for the setting it up part ... its fairly easy ... just have to download a server app like (the one i like) apache (http://httpd.apache.org/download.cgi) (its fairly easy to install and use ... just follow the instructions here (http://www.zrinity.com/developers/apache/installapache.cfm)if you need to) then place all the files you want to serve out in the specified directory and make sure your router has port 80 (or whichever port you wanna use ... 80 is standard though) unblocked and forwarded to your PC.
