Well I finally did it. I followed the suggestions of all my friends and put all my reports in one place, so instead of trying to write a diary, the reports will do the 'story telling' such as it were, But even now I find myself writing a diary, oh well it will be both. The Following Reports and well 'diary entry will record the events of my years of service, the Demon wars and the continuing struggle against Demons by the United Fur Army.

On June 31st October in the year 1988, a girl was born to Pippa and James Evans. That girl was me, Claire Rachel Evans, a wolf just like my parents. I was a Healthy Baby, with light almost orange fur. Sadly my childhood was not a good one, but ill go into that later. First let me describe to you how my father and his legacy would change my life forever.

My father was a great officer in the U.F.A or united Fur Army; he was a well decorated hero of our nation, the United Free States, a group of smaller countries which Several years ago banded together against an Evil Foe, an Evil So Great that it had taken the entirety of the world to defeat. A Uprising by the Demons, magical creatures of myth and legend, or that is how most people had believed them to be, but when a separatist group of demons under the leadership of a Rogue Demon Master which went by the name of Lexur. This rouge Demon Master had managed to call and corrupt a lot of furs to him. Not strong enough to face him head on, the United Free States and her allies had dug in and gone on the defensive, daring the Demons and their followers to charge their lines of fortifications. They had dug in deep, the defenses stretched from end of the border to another. With Tanks, Artillery, Concrete Defenses and infantry defending the line, they thought the line would hold. Unfortunately fortunately for the normal furs, they hadn't taken into account one of the most important factor Magic. With the Demonic forces breaking through the central defense line with magic it sent the whole alliance into disarray.

My Father, who had been commanding the heavy tank regiments at that time, saw the army rout, the air force was taking heavy casualties and the navy was near enough non-existent. So my father drove his command tank along the army’s lines, rallying them. He then turned the majority of the surviving force back around, he charged them at the demon lines. The battle then would be one of the greatest battles of the century. It took place around the city of New York, the Demon Lexur had transported the entirety of his army there, with the support of the Demons that followed him. The Combined force of Demons and corrupt furs had thrown the initial defense force of New York out of the city. This is where my father rallied them. Charging back into New York, it became bitter street to street fighting, the city slowly crumbled around the fighting. A turning point came in the battle, when my father made the decision that would give the battle its image for the rest of history. He ordered that precision munitions be fired at the Empire State Building, the reason behind this move, which at the time appeared to be utter madness, was actually a carefully planed strategic move. This became evident, when the Empire State Building collapsed on a large part of the Demon's army. This was the turning point; the building destroyed the majority of the remaining furs loyal to the demons.

With the destruction of the majority of there army's and the death of several demons, the surviving Demons and Furs retreated back to Governors Island. Not wanting to risk a direct ground assault, he ordered the Island to be subjected to a constant air, land and sea bombardment. As Fighter Bombers, ground based artillery and the united Furs Navy's last remaining battleships put the island under constant bombardment. The Demon Mages managed to stop some of the bombardment, but the sheer amount of fire slowly destroyed the shield they had erected. (There also was a strange report at this time, it appeared that a flying figure was also attacking the shield, but this was dismissed as speculation.) As the shells took there toll, the demons realized the battle was lost, the Demon Master Lexur, retreated back to the depths of hell. Unfortunately any celebration was cut short by the Demons Furs; they went crazy once they were abandoned by there by the demon. There was no hope for them as they charged at the UFNS Freedom's Fist, a Fox-Class Battleship, in suicide boats. The Freedom’s Fist was one of the two surviving battleships. The other being the UNFS Wolf Fang, a Larger, more powerful Wolf-Class Battleship. As the suicide boats collided with the UNFS Freedom's Fist, they exploded. The ship disappearing in a large fire ball, the rest of the furs looked on in horror. When the fire ball dissipated the ship was gone, complete. All Hands were lost, no survivors........but the worst was yet to come.

Woah, so far I'm liking... Sets up a nice back with a bit of hints of what's going to happen ^^

I can't find much to critique at all, and that's a good thing coming from me. The first person perspective makes it seem even more real, and while reading this, I imagined the scene in the background with the slight filmgrain on it, like it was some kind of flashback. Well, I'm rambling.

Great job so far!
