Confused and Lost

[Shilo]

Shilo shook his white fur, trying to get some of the grime and water. It was useless. He gave up and tipped over a trashcan, searching for food. He was so hungry. It was so cold...and wet...He looked up at the sky for a second before returning his gaze back to the trashcan, nosing items around here and there, looking for something edible. He wanted to be with his pack in the forest, but he could not find his way back! He sniffed at a half eaten apple before picking it up in his mouth and looked around for shelter from the rain. He spotted an old chair on a porch and laid down underneath. His ears perked for a second at the sounds on the television inside the house, but he wasn't able to understand any of it. Pretty soon he passed out from exhaustion of the day's efforts.

Vixen was walking down the road going back to her place after spending some time with friends. She walks across back alleys to take a shortcut back to her home, squeezing through trashcans and dumpsters as she clutches over her bag, then she spots something, she walks towards it, and was wondering if it was dead but seeing its chest move up and down, "aww poor little guy" now she was wondering what to do, she can't just take him home but she can't leave him out to die. She decides to take it home, then she crouches down and cradles him, as she presses for home. She then took him to her room, "i wonder what happened to you boy, i'm gonna get some food for you" then she up and left the room to get some food.

He curled up against her stomach as she carried him, still passed out. He woke up as she left the room and looked around. Shilo whimpered quietly, not knowing where he was again. He dropped off the bed, leaving grime and moisture on it and layed down under the bed, watching the door.

Vixen came back with two juicy steaks for him, some chips for her as she sits down near him then lays the plate over his nose, "here you go! eat as much as you like" she gives his head a pet as she nibbles on a chip or two.

He winced as she touched him, but he couldn't resist the smell of the food on the plates. Shilo ate the steaks hungrily before getting back up on the bed and curling up on the covers. He stretched for a second and then yawned, his stomach full for the first time in days. He liked this person, she didn't try to hurt him or hit him with a broom like all the other people did.

Vixen smiles at him, she pets his head again, "well its not much but glad you enjoyed the meal" she gathers the plate and chuckles, "sleep tight little one, i'll be back later" she said as she rub her paw over his furry body, then moves out the door again. SHe went to the bathroom and took a nice shower, after that she dried herself off. Before going back to her room where he slept.

He blinked sleepily as she talked. He had no clue what she was saying. When she left the room, he fell asleep under the covers, leaving mud stains on the sheets.

her hair was still wet as she looks at him over her bed, "now what do i call you" she wonders as she was leaning over her bed.

[Shilo]

[ Whatever you want really, doesn't even need to be Shilo. Would actually perfer for it not to be lol. ]

He dozed under the sheets, oblivious to her presence.

Vixen moves to stroke him over him, "maybe a doctor would help" seeing his battered body made her want to treat him, don't want to tell her parents though. "hmm...i'll just call you Lucky" petting over his head.

[Shilo]

He shivered slightly as she petted him and snuggled up against her for warmth. He was cold from being outside for too long and didn't feel so good. Closer up she could see that part of his ear was torn from a fight with another dog and that his right side was slightly matted with blood.

She pulls him closer as she gets a rag to clean his body and pets his head.

While she cleaned him, he growled in his sleep and twitched every now and then. After a minute, he jerked awake and laid still.

SHe blinks and pets hi suninjured side, "so how did you end up like this?" she wonders still cleaning the blood of his fur.

[Shilo]

When she petted him, he flinched and whimpered. That hurt!

She blinks, "mm did you..did you just talk?!" she stopped whatever it is she was doing.

[No, it was just a whimper.]

SHe jumps a bit when he whined and growled, "sorry about that" then she gently just dab a bit over his fur. "please endure, this won't take long"

He laid still again and let her do as she wanted.
