well a few days ago I was loading up a new hard drive and well it didn't have any fire wall or protection what so ever, but I'm getting off topic a little. Once I got it all set up I look through the program central file and......Ive been attacked by faceback.exe and outerinfo. Well anyway, i'm really great at computers, just not at killing this kind of virus. Can anyone help

Try running your computer in safe mode and using spybot. And try a registry cleaner.

I've been around this block several times. What I do is load the OS without having the computer connected to the internet. I than load my virus checkers, spyware and registry cleaners.
Then, run each of these programs and clean up any problems prior to getting onto the internet. Your spyware and virus checkers should keep you relatively safe at that point.
Connect to the internet and immediately update your virus checker, then your spyware, in that order. Disconnect from the internet, scan the OS again. Once you have a clean slate, get back on the internet and update the OS.
The last thing I do, before I start installing other software is to scan the updated OS one more time using the virus checker and spyware software.
It's time consuming, but I've found it the safest method to keep everything clean on your computer. This procedure is especially recommended if you're using older OS's like Windows 2000 or earlier.

Try running Avast and Spybot: Search & Destroy. They're both good programs and both are free. If that doesn't work just reformat. It's a new hard drive anyway. Next time use a firewall. I just use those two programs I listed and windows firewall and I never have any viruses. Just set your firewall to block everything except programs on a list, don't click anything suspicious and download security updates regularly. Viruses are quite easy to avoid getting in the first place with minimal effort.

I have a foolproof 3 step method for getting rid of viruses on Windows 2000 and earlier.
1: Find a trash can.
2: Put your computer in it.
3: Buy a computer from this decade.
It works every time.
