Dragon's best friend. (Shilo)

[Xon_Mar]

Xon yawned getting up in the morning and he went into his bathroom. The large bluishgray dragon would turn the water on hot and would wash himself off. A few minutes later he'd get out and dry off. "You awake boy?" He called as he would get dressed and then go towards the kitchen to get some food for his pet.

[Shilo]

[Pick a name for me. Perferably not Shilo =P]

He stretched out on the end of the bed and yawned sleepily before following his master. He was hungry.

[Xon_Mar]

The large dragon smiles to the wolf as he follows him into the kitchen. "Sleep well Kuro?" Xon asked as he began chopping some meat up for his pet's breakfast.

[Shilo]

Kuro nodded and sat next to his master's feed, looking up at the meat. He licked his lips hungrily before rubbing the side of his head against his master's leg to try and get attention.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon smiled down to Kuro and he'd move a large paw rubbing petting Kuro's head and scratching behind his ears lightly. "I love you bud. Excited that we're going to the park later?" He asked and would move the bowl full of meat down to the floor so Kuro could eat it.

[Shilo]

He smiled happily and thumped his tail on the ground as Xon scratched his ears. Oh...that felt so good. He barked once when Xon mentioned the park before setting upon the food.

[Gotta go for the rest of the night pretty soon :( ]

[Xon_Mar]

Xon nodded smiling. "Enjoy your breakfast boy." He said and woudl start making his own breakfast.

[Shilo]

[Gonna be on for a little bit longer.]

Kuro finished up quickly and curled up under his master's chair and waiting him for to eat his breakfast, swishing his tail back and forth.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon smiled as he kept eating and he'd move his large paw to rub Kuro's back some. "I wonder what we should do at the park." He said smiling down to his pet.

[Shilo]

He yawned and scratched his neck for a flea before laying back down.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon finished off his breakfast and would put the dishes in the sink. "Ready to go Kuro?" He asked as he'd walk over towards the door and grabbing a collar and leash for Kuro.

[Shilo]

Kuro yipped and wriggled between his master's feet. He was excited which probably made it hard for Xon to put on the collar and leash.

[Xon_Mar]

"Come on boy. Calm down for a second." He's say chuckling and then after a minute he'd stand up and in a much sterner voice say. "Sit!" He'd command looking down at Kuro.

[Shilo]

Shilo sat out of habit and stayed where he was, his tail going back and forth.

[Xon_Mar]

"Good boy." Xon said and pet the wolf's head as he put the collar on Kuro and latched the collar. He'd then open the door and let them both out before closing it and locking it.

[Shilo]

Kuro dashed out quickly and almost flipped backwards when the leash went taunt. He got back up and waited quietly for Xon to finished.

[school now, got to go]

[Xon_Mar]

Xon shook his head. "You do that everyday. I'm surprised you haven't learned by now." He said shaking his head slightly and would start walking with Kuro towards the park.

[Shilo]

He followed his master's side, lagging back every now and then to the end of the leash to sniff or smell something. Sometimes he got tangled up in the leash. Kuro tried to avoid that, but it always seemed to happen anyways! He loved being outside though, where all the exciting smells and sights were. Except for the loud noise makers that brought water from the sky and made him get wet. He didn't like those at all.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon chuckled whenever Shilo got tangled up he'd fix the leash to free him. It was a nice sunny day so Kuro wouldn't have to worry about rain until later that night when they'd have a storm. As they reached the park he'd smile. "You ready to play buddy?" he asked pulling out a frisbee from his backpack.

[Shilo]

He quickly sat and alertly watched the frisbee when Xon brought it out. Kuro's master always tried to throw the thing away and Kuro brought it back just to annoy them.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon smiled and nodded. "Here you go Kuro. Go get it." He said and would turn throwing it quickly as it flew off and he smiled.

[Shilo]

Kuro run to the end of the leash again and this time did flip backwards. He got back up and whimpered at Xon. He couldn't get the thing!

[Xon_Mar]

"Oh crap! I'm sorry Kuro." He said as he had forgotten about the leash and undid it from the collar and scratched behind his ears. "I'm sorry boy. Now go get it." He said and shok his head at his own stupidity.

[Shilo]

He run after the way he saw the frisbee go as soon as the leash was off. He couldn't find it at first because it had landed in some taller grass, but he grabbed it and ran back to Xon before dropping it at his feet, panting.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon smiled and bent down petting Kuro and picking up the frisbee. "Good boy Kuro. Good job. I'll throw it again." He said and would move throwing it out and would watch it fly off.

[Shilo]

Kuro ran after it again, determined the catch it. But this time he couldn't! It was stuck in a tree! He circled the tree twice to try and find a way up it but he couldn't find one. He whined before walked back to Xon with his head low.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon looks at him. "It's alright buddy. I'll get it down." He said and petted him toshow he wasn't mad or anythign. He'd move flying up into the tree and getting the frisbee.

[Shilo]

Kuro sat on the ground and watched, jelous that he wasn't able to do that.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon smiled down to Kuro. "Ok a couple more times." He said and would throw it off for Kuro to follow.

[Shilo]

Kuro chased after it again and brought it back even quicker.

[Xon_Mar]

"Alright good boy." He said picking it up and would throw it again.

[Shilo]

Kuro started going slower now, he was starting to get tired. When he brought it back, he was panting.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon smiled. "Good boy. Let's go home and get something to drink." He said and petted him as he would reattach the collar and pick up the frisbee putting it back in his bag.

[Shilo]

He rolled around on the grass before getting up and following master.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon smiled as they headed back and then they'd hear thunder overhead. "Come on Kuro. It looks like it will rain soon."

[Shilo]

Kuro didn't like being outside anymore as soon as he heard the thunder. He whimpered and stayed close to his master's feet, almost tripping him

[Xon_Mar]

Xon walked and he looked down at Kuro. "Don't worry little buddy. It'll be alright." He told him soothingly.

[Shilo]

He looked up and whimpered, still following him.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon opened the door to his house and would let Kuro inside. "Now sit boy." He said and closed the door behing him and would take a towel to wipe Kuro's feet and remove the leash and collar before he'd let him go. "Good boy." He said to release him.

[Shilo]

He got inside the house as soon as possible. He didn't like staying still when a storm was coming, but his master had told him to. As soon as Xon let go, Kuro ran to the bed and hid under the covers.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon chuckled slightly. Kuro hated storms and he went after him to the bed and sat on it and would reach in to pet and console his friend. "It's alright Kuro. I'm here."

[Shilo]

Kuro curled up against Xon while staying underneath the covers as best as possible.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon petted Kuro and put an arm around him to keep him calm. "It's alright buddy."

[Shilo]

Kuro went to sleep. He found that the best way to get through storms. He didn't have to hear them then.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon sighed slightly as Kuro went to sleep. "Night buddy." He said and woudl go to make himself some dinner.

[Shilo]

Kuro slept until his master woke him up.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon would finish eating his dinner and soon it stopped raining and he'd go into the bedroom and pet Kuro. "It stopped raining boy. You can come out."

[Shilo]

Kuro blinked at Xon before dropping on the floor and stretching. He smelled something. He went into the kitchen and got in his master's chair and started licking his bowl clean.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon walked in and saw him. "Kuro, down." He said sternly. "You know you're not allowed on the table."

[Shilo]

He cringed slightly before getting off the table and curling up under the chair as he usually did.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon sighed and shook his head as he would move washing his bowl out now. He would move getting Kuro his food. "This is yours." He said and put Kuro's bowl on the floor.

[Shilo]

He sighed. He didn't really like the food his master gave him. He liked the food that master had on his plate. He went ahead and ate anyhow.

[Xon_Mar]

"Good boy." Xon said as he knew Kuro didn't like his food as much as he did the food Xon ate, but the food Xon was giving him was healthier for him.

[Shilo]

(Go ahead and write more =P. It's getting harder to do something.)

[Xon_Mar]

"We need to give you a bath though." Xon said looking to Kuro as the dog was beginning to smell. He would reach down to grab Kuro's scruff incase he tried to run.

[Shilo]

Kuro whimpered and clung to the ground as best he could, baths scared him almost as much as the loud noises outside. He gave up as the collar started to choke him and allowed himself to be dragged.

[Xon_Mar]

"Come on Kuro. It'll be fine." He said and sighed as he would get him into the bathroom and close the door locking it. He'd let Kuro's collar go since he didn't really have anywhere to go and he'd turn the water on.

[Shilo]

He whined as the water started going. He knew he wasn't going to get out of this, but that didn't mean he had to like it. He layed down on the floor and tried to stay there.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon chuckled slightly as Kuro whined. "Would you rather I take a bath with you?" He asked because he always ended up soaked from giving him a bath anyways.

[Shilo]

Kuro just stared at Xon. He didn't know what he said. He only knew things like down, up , sit, stand, laydown, bed, park, food, and other things like that.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon chuckled and would move a hand petting Kuro and grab the scruff of his neck lightly. "Come." He'd say and pull him gently to get him to the tub and he'd lift him and put him into it.

[Shilo]

He whimpered when he feet touched the water and when Xon put him all the way in, he splashed around, doing his best to get back out.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon moved and would push Kuro in the tub to keep him in. "Stay." He said sternly to try and get him to stay there as he'd hold his scruff with one paw and pour water over Kuro with the other.

[Shilo]

Kuro laid down in the tub and stayed still, only fidgeting every now and then. He whimpered loudly, he REALLY didn't like this. There was soap in his eyes and he couldn't move with Xon holding him down.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon poured water over Kuro to get the soap out of his eyes and the rest of his fur. "It's almost over buddy." He told him as he was nearly finished watching him and then he'd start draining the water.

[Shilo]

He twitched in the tub whenever the water landed on him. He was still alert for a way to escape.

[Xon_Mar]

Xon would keep his paw holding onto Kuro and the water would finally have drained from the tup and he'd grab a towel with his other paw and start rubbing Kuro dry holding onto him so he wouldn't shake and get water everywhere.

[Shilo]

Kuro was GLAD that the bath was over, he never did like those.

[Xon_Mar]

"Alright all dry. There you go." Xon told Kuro smiling as he knew the dog would probably hop out and run.

[Shilo]

The second Xon let go, Kuro jumped to the door and started scratching at it to try and get out.

[Xon_Mar]

"Stop that!" Xon scolded seeing the dog scratching at the door. "Bad boy." He said and grabbed the dog by the scruff of the neck and would open the door. "Go lay down." He said sternly.

[Shilo]

He whimpered as he was held still. After Xon told him to go lay down, he went to Xon's room and after rubbing against the covers to help dry, he curled up on the end of the bed and sighed.
