“Best Weekend Ever”

1st Verse
I’m up early for the big day/I cant help but smile on the way to JFK/But then I hear there’s a delay/The only thing I can do is pray/But it ain’t long before I’m having lunch with the clouds/While I daydream about the large crowds/I land and take a bus to the doubletree/Then I make my way over to AC/All types of fursuits are in attendance/I can barely make my way through the hotel entrance/I’m no longer resentful about being uninvited/I cant remember the last time I was this excited/I hooked up with Dream so I can join in the fun/Its hard to believe that the weekend has only begun/Winterpaw gotta be the friendliest fur I ever met and it isn’t long before I meet my pal Joey aka Ket/Without him my furry life wouldn’t even exist/So I got him to thank for all of this/I couldn’t ask for a better roommate/Now that the gang is all here, the only thing left to do is celebrate
Hook: I wanna share with you the best days of my life/The only days where nothing could go wrong, only right/Everytime I think of those four special days in June/It makes me want to go on the roof and howl at the moon/With all the pain and suffering I endured/Going to Anthrocon seemed like the perfect cure/I shall cherish and honor these memories forever/This had to be paws down the best weekend ever

At night you could always catch me at the raves/The hot electronica got me dancing like a slave/All types of fursuiters around me participatin’/They ain’t humping each other, they celebratin’/Miles away from their troubles at home/They’re with people who can relate to them so their never alone/I hit the hotel room with all types of fur on my sweater/It’s the next day and things are only getting better/Whether it be shopping for furry swag in the dealer’s den/Or meeting new people and making some new friends/Shout out to Steel the warrior and his fox puppet/The guy is hilarious man, you gotta love it/He cant stop making us laugh/Even at Jimmy Wolf’s birthday bash/Afterward I got Spunky to meet Ket/A touching moment that I doubt he’ll ever forget/Then it was to the rave once more/I’m having so much fun that I never want to leave the dance floor

Its Saturday and I’m pumped to see Bucktown’s concert/Getting to meet him was definitely an honor/I bought his album to support the fur hop cause/Don’t tell me you never heard of paw recognize paws/That was after I showed love at the fursuit parade/But before those fursuiters performed at the masquerade/Man these furries sure got talent/The only thing that could have made the show better was me not being absent/Now its time for the smash bros. tournament/I’m knocked out the third round by a dude named Aids/I decide to lick my wounds at the last rave/I spend my last day enjoying the fursuit games/I also decided to postpone my plane, in order to see the dance competition/Its closing ceremonies and I cant believe the con is actually finishin’/I already know that this was the best weekend of my life and I intend on spending the rest of it at the dead dog dance!/Why, because its our last chance
