For weeks the flyers had been up, advertising all over the place the first public performance round these parts of a new rock band, The Rockaneers.
The band was understandably nervous, this being their first gig outside of their hometown. They weren't even sure if anyone would show up! And because of this uncertainty, they unanimously agreed to make this a rather casual concert: no tickets, and no admittance fees. Every fur was free to come should he feel like it.
Lead singer Travis Tenorman, a bird of many colors, was up on the stage examining the equipment and peering out into the seats to see if anyone had arrived. He then returned backstage to get ready for the performance along with the rest of the band.
