11:14 PM Outside a top secret research facility in Australia.

People in white lab coats, some wounded, rush from an open door of an underground complex surrounded by military escorts. They step into waiting choppers which lift off. As they lift off the ground, a few bleeding scientists run-

-from the compound, waving frantically at the choppers. As the figures get smaller, they fire at a swarm of creatures, that eventually bury them. The side of the choppers say War-Tek...

August 29th, 2012. 1 month after outbreak.
New York City, outer suburbs.

"Reports are coming in of mass murder as what looks like partially decayed creatures attack civilians. The country is in a state of emergency as everywhere people are trying to leave their cities, only to be kept inside by military occupation.If you-

"-can aqquire a greencard issued by the military and pass a health screening process you will be allowed to leave. We have this confirmed from the highest levels of the government." The newsfox said hurriedly.

"Once again streets are crowded by cars, I repeat stay indoors until order is established and the streets are clear. Find some form of protection and stay on your guard."

All RP'ers start in a mall near the gun shop. The food court is 50 feet away, up a flight of stairs. There is a multifloor-

-parking garage attached to the mall. You're at the Northern section of the city, near a large river with a long bridge. The mall is adjacent to it. Many furs have abandoned their cars and are walking the streets unaware of the approaching danger.
