Shinigami battle of proof! (for any and all!)

The day had come, after 100 years, the tornement had come to soul society finally. Many were looking forward to the day, the day all of the 13 protection squads get to show their stuff. Those below captain and vice captain were the only ones allowed to enter, since it was considered to be too difficult for those lower in the squads, should they come up against one of them. The tornement was simple, defeat all your oponents and your rank in your own squad will highten greatly, depending on where one already stand, if they get so high, they are allowed a special exibition match with a vice captain to earn their spot.

The arena was huge, and made of the stone that absorbed spiritual power, to help protect the spectators. The gate opened and the first contestant entered. The young shinigami wore a mask and as he pulled it off, many were surprised that that he was half lion. He smiled and waved out feeling a bit awekward "this is the first time ove taken this off with so many around.....ive only taken it off with the captain around...but i may hav not done well at all last tornment but this time...im gonna win the whole thing" The lion was from the 7th squad with the well known fox was the captain. He was seen as one of the one of the lowest spots of the totem pole that was the seventh squad.

Mazic landed on the battle square with a smile on his face as his wings pulled in around him. He was in the squad known to fight, and lead by the half crazyed Kenpachi. He was a 7' male, his muscles being hidden under his robes. He was a strong and skillful swordsman, though his rank wouldn't show how much power was really weilded by him. "So you are my opponent. Hope you brought your fighting cloths." He said ripping off his robes and showing his bare chest, cut along his entire front. "I am the unstoppable sky demon, Mazic."

The lion looked up seeing the dragon come down. He smirked and watched him toss half his cloths off "my my your really showie arnt you, i didnt know captain kenpachi's squad were such preformers heh, and dont think you can take me lightly, i could have been assigned to that squad but im not battle crazy. Georgio looked over to where the captains were sitting and the captain with a long beard stood up and tapped his cane on the floor to quiet the crowd. "let the first match...start!" The crowd hollared for both compatents and cheered for them both. He smirked and drew his sword, the hilt was square but had small sharp spikes along the edge. His eyes met the dragons as he sighed "i guess these guys are looking for a show, we might as well give them a good one huh heh"

Stading on the top of the entrance piller, knelt an unknown combatant, every one in her squad laughed when she said she was going to enter the tornament, even Her C'O, she reacted with great calmness, saying that she was just as better then even half the men in her squad, and to prove it she willingly took them on, first one by one, until they saw that I was more dangerous, then they first thought, She was able to beat three thirds of them with just he hands, before she even had to refer to her sword,, which she stood he ground with out maim or hurting any one in her squad, before the C'O stepped in and said enough, "You have proven your point", He gave me the pass to enter the tornement, Leaping high in the air off of the piller.

I land inbetween the Lion and Dragon, Smiling as I look at them both, one hand placed on my the hilt of my sword still in it sheath.

"Looks like I am just intime to join the fun, i hope you don't mind late entertrents?, I would have been here sooner, just I had to deal with a few brick heads in my squad". purrring softly as I wait for the Lion and Dragon to speak.

The lions eyes widened as he saw the figure jumping from above and landing between his oponent. "what the...you! what are you doing here anyways? you want to make this fight a three way match?" He softly growled at the leopard "if you want to fight me i can take you both on at once, because i plan to win this match and earn a spot as a vice captain!"

[Night Firepaw]

Murrrring with a dangerous purrr in my voice as i stand tall in front of the lion.

"I am here to participate in the comptition, to take the rank of vice captain, and show that us female have just as much rights as you males, and no I don't plan to make this a handicapped match, I am going to take on the winner between you and the silent Dragon, I am just here so I can let my presence be felt, tapping my sword i step away sitting back down on the entrance piller, waiting for the fun to begin.

[Mazic-The-Shapeshifter]

Mazic just growled when the woman jumpped in. When she left, his eyes just glared at her. "Stupid women, in to much of a hurry." He said in a low tone, his hand grabbing his Zangbakto's hilt. He pulled out the blade and held the blade along his forearm. He then held his sword behind him, giving a seemingly side opening to his whole front. His hand pointed out at the lion with a large toothy smile. "Want to know why I am fighting... Just because I can."

The lion grinned and looked at the dragon. "i see....well i hope you wont mind if i beat you here, i need to get that vice captains position you see.." He pointed his zanpakto to the dragon and readied himself. "heh maybe we should fore go the warm up and get to something a little more serious huh?"

[Mazic-The-Shapeshifter]

"Do what you want. I plan on dragging out this fight. They are no fun when they end quickly." he said licking his lips. "If you want to call out your swords name, fine. I will show how strong I am by winning with just the first state."

The lion smirked and watched the dragon carefully "heh i dont need my to release my sword, even though its allowed i really wouldnt want to accidently kill you" He started to shift his body and slowly started to walk in a circle around the dragon.

[Mazic-The-Shapeshifter]

"The weak say big things. Hundreds of people say things like that, I learned it is better to show them." he said flash stepping behind him. "Sometimes, it is best to just go for the kill." He began pushing spiritual energy into his fist and thrusted his hand at him, and burst of energy coming form it.

The lion looked behind him and quickly flashed stepped out of the way. HE reappread above him and pointed his palm down to him at the dragon. "Hado-way of destruction number 31 shakkaho" His palm grew red and a ball of bright red light shot from his paw straight at the dragon. Georgio flash stepped again and stood a bit far away from the dragon.

Smileing broadly, as I watch the Lion and Dragon batter it out, Licking my lips with great satifaction, seeing that this was worth my time and effort to get into this tournement, as I watch the battle rage with motions form both combatants, not with fear but with pride that I was going to finally fight the last one standing, as a worthy opponant as I prepared my mind and body both mentally and physiclly, My hunters eyes fixed on them like a predetor after her prey and the prize wasn't for the kill of whom ever I killed, but for the right to be ranked as vice captian, to show that females rank just as well as Males.

[Mazic-The-Shapeshifter]

Mazic just smiled as the red ball flew at him. "Spells are useless." he said swiping his sword, his spiritual energy flying off and cutting the attack before it came to close. "I suggest you stay with your sword, I don't like spell users." He said dashing at Georgio, swinging his sword at him.

The lion was surprised "heh that hado was pretty high up but its not too bad, but if he can block something up to level 50 hado spells i may have to release my sword sooner then i thought" His sword caught the dragons as he looked in this eyes. As he peared into his eyes, he could see the battle fuled power inside him. "o boy this guys is as tough as he looks plus as strong it seems, a binding spell strong enough to hold him would take to long to chant out, i dought hed give me the time to anyways"

Smiling even more maliously, as I see the dragon cutting the attack in half knowing that magic was out of the question, i started plotting on my strategie for how to take him out. while waching the fight heat up even more.

"IS THAT ALL YOU HAVE, MY GRAND MOTHER IS THREE THIRDS OF OUR AGE, AND SHE CAN FIGHT BETTER THEN ANY ONE HALF HER AGE"

chuckling softly to myself, knowing why I said that for.

The lion peaked up "o yeah..." He jumped back and looked at the dragon "i dont care about taking my time anymore, im gonna beat you now. He held up his sword above his head and growled softly. "adapt! gin nanimo!" As he released his sword the tip of it looked at it was bleeding or leaking silver blood. It quickly came out like a fauset and quickly covered his entire body, till it was just a giant blob of silver goo. After a moment it quickly reformed it self to make the lion look almost like a knight. The goo became an armor that coverd his whole body. His sword was the same but it was covered in a coat of the goo to fortify it and a small mace was shapped around the tip of his tail. "heh i hope your ready to admit defeat because id much rather not hurt you"

[Mazic-The-Shapeshifter]

Mazic just laughed as he pushed down, using the force to push himself away. "I must have scared you, already Releasing. I guess I will do it to." he said laughing as he put his hand at his sword. "Scatter and Devour, semi-ishuu!" He said dropping his sword, only for it to disappear and the sound of thousands of locust could be heard. "Your power won't stand a chance. I have mastered this blade." He continued holding out his hand, then swiping beside him, a cut appearing on the ground from nothingness.

The lion watched carefully and saw his sword dissapear "what the hell! where did it go...." He looked in awe as he saw the dragon swing his arm and the slice on the ground appear "huh?!...hm...i see....theirs alot i dont know about his releases capability but....hes on the same plain as i am, he doesnt know what this is capable of, heh he still thinks its just an armor, which gives me an edge" Georgio watched him carefully and smirked "heh you think a little cuts gonna scare me? a blade cant cut me with this on" His armored paw came to his head and pulled a mask over his face. He flash stepped away and appeared on his left side swiping his sword at him.

[Mazic-The-Shapeshifter]

Mazic just smiled, lifting his right arm and blocking his sword with his Zangbakto's power, a space between the sword and his arm. "To close." he said stabing his arm at Georgio's stomach. Even if he blocked, his hand would touch the armor and he would feel violent vibrations affecting the inside flesh under the armor. "Semi-Ishuu, uses vibrations to cut. Armor can't block it, only equal Vibrations can disrupt it."

The lion was slightly caught off guard by the block with just vibrations but it only made him grin just as quick. "perfect" Just as the dragon was about to strike the "armor" on the lions body, it complely disconnected from his body like foil on a piece of candy and wrapped around the dragon in a large oval sphere. He quickly stabbed in his sword as it passed threw the sphere like a hot knife threw butter and he felt it hit something. "heh got cha" To be safe he jumped away, and as the sword slipped out the goo followed, attached to the tip of his sword and quickly reformed around his body to reform the armor. "heh he thought my release was a stationary armor, he didnt consider i can make it what i want it to be, when i want to be heh"

[Mazic-The-Shapeshifter]

((You do relize, that because you stabbed you would have been stabbed by my vibration blade. It moves through barriars.))

As mazic saw the armor come off him and surrond him. I see, no way it will stop his attack. So... He thought as he surronded himself in his dense vibration that blocked his sword from making contact. When he pulled the armor away, he just smiled licking his lips. "I find that really interesting. I can't keep a all-around field for long. So I guess I have to keep you at a distance. That is just no fun." He said placing his hands together, the dirt seeming to swirl around him not. Then he took his hands appart, on hand pointing at him. A sudden rush of motion moved by his head. "That was a warning shot, now move it."

[Mazic-The-Shapeshifter]

((Basicly I sent out a ranged vibration attack that can move through barriars. I want to make a correction though, the vibration can only go through physical barriars unhindered. Mazic makes two different vibrations, A dense vibration that repulses attacks and a ghost like vibration that moves through objects.))

[Mazic-The-Shapeshifter]

((Well the first stab was somewhere at the gut, but the ranged attack was a miss to warn you. Mazic wants to play.))

The lion felt something just brush against his cheek and felt it with his paw feeling a small cut on his cheek. "heh i see...so thats hows your playing it, and ill have to keep taht little tid bit in mind hehe" Georgio started to run to the side and flash stepped across to the other side. After he did the armor on his leg shifted up to his arms. In his free paw was a long whip like thing and the lashed out at the dragons side with it "dont think your the only one that can use distance attacks!" As his attack with the whip was flying at him, the goo on his lower torso shifted to his other arm and looked like a small cannon. It fired a small ball of the goo, shaped like a smike at the dragon.

[Mazic-The-Shapeshifter]

Mazic growled, thinking he had the advantage. He flash stepped out of the path of the whip, only to have a spike flying at him. Crap, That will Pierce through. He thought as he focused the dense vibrations off center, making the spike move to the left and stab into his shoulder. "Good hit. I guess I will have to level up one." He said putting his hands out, his sword hilt returning to his hands. The vibrations coming out of the blade shifted everything seen through it. "BANKAI!" He yelled as he sent out the vibrations in a large pluse to knock him off his feet. His bankai was really a trick, not having yet gotten strong enough to obtain that level, but his Shikai wasn't at full power either. He flash stepped behind Georgio and slashed, A vibration attack right behind his more dense Vibration Blade, this way it he attacked the vibration that could cut through his armor would hit.

The lion watched and smirked "so he cant take or block high impact attacks that gives me an edge" He watched carefully as what he was doing. AS the vibrations set him off balance he started to fall back, but slash at his back struck him to push him forward. He lay their hunched for a moment and stageringly jumped away panting. "dammit, that was a good hit, hurt like hell too, if it wasnt for the armor it would have been alot deeper....ah.....dammit and bankai, i didnt even see anything, and his riatsu didnt change at all, i think that might have been a bluff" As he stood their thinking for a moment e goo slowly slipped intot he would to bandage and keep from any blood loss, as well as stablize any real damage "i cant exactly keep that their forever, but i dont want to use my bankai off the bat, the captain would never accept me if i did, i have to beat him without it, and i can, i just need some time to think, but this guy wont give me any, o well, ill have to try something and hope it works"

As the goo quickly regathered to his body, it quickly melted into the ground, dissapering from site. "heh now your gonna have to watch your ass, and keep your guard up, or else your not gonna be in a world of trouble"He flash stepped behind him and dissapeared again. "Bakudo:way of binding number one sai!" The lion had chossen to appear above the dragon and casted the most basic of binding spells. The dragons wrists were drawn right behind him to his back and kept him in place, if only for a few fractions of a second. His sword pointed right at his other sholder and was hoping to strike "he can break out of that in a second, but the surprise from it should be enough to strike his arm and incapacitate it for now, even if he catches it, he'll have a hell of a time forcusing with this extra distraction" As the lion was falling the good which was right under the dragons feet, two spikes came right under the dragons feet and pierced right threw them.

[Mazic-The-Shapeshifter]

Mazic growled as his arms went behind him, his sword disappearing again. He looked up, only to feel the spikes in his feet. "Fine. Zanshi-Kaijin-Denpa! Violent-Destruction-Wave!" He yelled as his vibrations suddenly stopped, then suddenly burst from his chest. It was mixed with his dense and incomporial vibrations, smashing the metal goo away while sending vibrations through his body, making it feel like he was being smashed from the inside and out. Mazic stood in a now indent of the battle arena, breathing heavy. "Semi-Ishuu hasn't gotten to full power yet." He said as his spirit pressure began to grow.

As the lion flew to his target he was throw from the violent blast as well as the goo was. He feel to the ground as the goo crawled its way over close and closer. Georgio picked himself up a little and growled softly "least i injured his feet, he should have a rough time or at least limit his movements a bit" He looked surprised at the dragon "not fully awakened yet? ive never seen such a strong sword release before, but he hasnt fought something like mine before either, which gives me an advantage, and i can use his swords weaknesses against him"

The lion looked at his sword and then looked at the dragon. His released sword slowly started to reform toward the lions arm. It recreated itself like a small cannon agian on its arm, and the rest of it became like a pack on his back as something like ammo "my sword wont work just yet, so ill use this and ill have to make the projectiles hollow so i can stretch out my ammo a little" Georgio grinned and fired a shot at the dragon and then flash stepped behind him and fired again and once more from above. When he finished he came back to his original spot and knelt down panting "crap...with that wound to my back, a few in succestion like that really tires me out fast, i dont think ill last too much longer....i dont want to...but i might have to use my bankai...i have to win this...at any cost.."

[Mazic-The-Shapeshifter]

Mazic just growled ducking down from the first, then rolled to the side. Even if I can't flash step, I have my natural reflexs. I have greater stamina then him, I can already tell that. And my Shikai is strong enough to handle Kenpachi for a short time. He thought looking at Georgie, then he blinked. "Why am I trying to think of a way to kill you?" He said standing, his sword appearing infront of him. "Sorry, I have to go train. This battle has taught me something important. Hope you become a Vice Captain." He said turning around and walking off the stage.

Watching the fight intensify between the Lion and Dragon, I lick my lips, Mentally preparing my self for the fight, knowing that after all I done to get this far, I was finally going to get a challenger worthy of fighting me, I was so happy I had to contol my thought, that was when it all begin, my mind flashed back to My child hood, about how My father would always come home drunk and beat me and my mother some what savage, all thoe I wanted to run away I didn't dare for knowing that he would have beating me and my mother a lot worse, I made a promise that I would never give another male of any sort that type of power over me, that is why I enlisted in the Army, I thought it would have made it better, how wrong I was, but that was my early years, now I am more respected and feared, as I return my thoughts back to the fight in Hand, more determined then ever before to win this fight.

The lion looked at the dragon curiously "what!? your forefitting the match?! why!" As he ran off he growled to himself "dammit, how can i accept winning like that..." He kneeled down and panted. His swords release had fanished as the medical squad soon came out to attend to his wounds. He was carried inside and looked up at the leapord and gestured her to follow.

The head captain clacked his cane on the floor "considering the wounds from the first match the second match shall be postponed for a bit to allow the winner to be atttended to by squad for, then we shall continue the match. All the while the old man spoke, Georgio was laying face down in the medical center in the arena with his shirt off, while his only real serious wound was tended too "wheres...that leopard girl...i want to speak with her..."

Getting off the entrance piller, as I make my way into the medical room as I see the captain of the lion, I look towards him standing to attention, giving him a salute, telling me that Georgio wanted to speak to me, I make my way towards the beds, asking the medics if it was all right to approach him, getting the go ahead, I stand seeing where the wound is.

"stop, that isn't an normal wound that is a Genshind wound, what you are doing is doing more harm then good, I on the other hand have the knowldge to deal with it, pulling out my sword, I say two words, Ryokshin Duan".

Gently I press My sword over the wound, as it slowly beging to heal, reversing all the tissue damage that the Dragons sword done, looking into the eyes of the Lion as I heal him, talking in a normal soft spoken female voice.

"You wished to see me?"

He was her walk in past the door where his captain had been "wha...why..why is he here...heh, i guess he was worried about me...just like him" As she walked in he looked at her curiously as she explained the wound "this is the medical squad im sure they know..." The lion stopped as she pressed he sword to his wound and healed it so easily. He curiously felt back to feel the wound gone, like it never existed. As he slowly sat up and pulled his shsirt back on he smirked at her "heh i didnt know your squad covered healing as well, my my a women of many talents you are appaently" Georgio looked at the medical team around him "please leave us for a moment will you?" They nodded and georgio grabbed his sword retieing it to him as he looked at her. "im sorry for pulling you out of their like that, i know you probibly menttally preparing for our battle after, but i wanted to ask you...why exactly do you have such an urge to fight someone so strong? i can unders stand that dragon, hes just battle crazy but you.....i can see it in your eyes, your all feminist but you have some real deep reson to be so stong don tyou?"

Removeing the sword as I see the wound healed up fully, I resheath my sword back into to the scabboard, looking at the shocked Lion as I hear his voice," My squad don't I don't belive in fighting people with out the ability to heal them, there is no honor in death, that Dragon saw the same thing and so did I", watching as the medical team left upon the Georgio command , looking back towards him "My grand father taught me before he passed away, he was the one person whom I could look too if I was in trouble He passed away 12 years ago now, He was a healer in the old ways, this was his fathers sword whom he killed many great warriors with it, there is a story behind it but I will save that for another time, My grand father didn't believe in killing, and neither do I, but yet like any one else here I will kill if it means My surival and that of My and the entire platoon under my command and that of my superiors, as for the Dragon he just wanted the expreance, by watching you fight he knew he was far from ready for real combat, and this wasn't to the death, unless he was truly ruthless? And like My great grand father before me He too was a leader, and as ruthless as He was He won an many great battles for them againest all odds, even when he was as badly wounder like you were, so I am both a fighter and healer, and no don't be sorry, You needed treatment, I will not fight an opponent whom has been mortally wounded, it is dishonorable, when we fight I want to win with honor and gain the respect of every one whom thinks that the army is no place for female, rather then fight dishonoralble and prove to them that I am a failure"

The lion smirked and looked at her "ah isee, that answers a great many things but yet makes as mnay questions as well heh" He stood up and looked at her "you have your honor and i admire that greatly, as i expected of someone with such notorious tales about her, heh. Dont think tales of your battles have gone unnoticed by any squad" He looked at her and smiled "i assume your looking for a captains position am i right? to prove yourself and fill one of the empty captain slots?"

Hearing the Lion speak as I look at him a little smile creeping across my lips hearing his word, "thank you Georgio" blushing slightly, well, can you blame me, what would you do if you were in my shoes?, and way, yes you are right in both ways I want to show that being female doesn't give me any less rights then every one else in the squad, I want to be able to prove that I too have leader capability as any one else, and like My great grand father I got the job done, only diffrence is, with that would, unless you were able to stand he would have killed your, like he did many others under His command that was the way it was back then, but I am nothing like that, and never will be I will give My life for and one of My squad, no matter what the cost, as long as we completed the mission in hand".

The lion smiled and looked at her "heh blushing now are we? i guess were not as much of a tom boy as many think you are huh? hehehe" Georgio chuckled softly at her, enjoying being able to relax with her oponet before the battle. Just as he was begining to relax a little he heard the clacking of the old mans cane and an anouncement was made to the entire arena "the medical team has informed me that the combatant Georgio of squad 7 has been healed of his injurys, the battle with commence, both combatants please come to the area"

He smirked and looked at her "i guess this is it huh? and dont worry i wont go easy on you, heh but i respect your pride and your honor and for that, i will not release my sword until you do"

The lion started to walk and past the door, seeing the large fox still standing their "o! captain" He bowed quickly and saluted "im sorry if my injurys brought about any worrys, i shouldnt have been so reckless..." The fox held up his paw to stop him from talking and looked into his eyes "you...have become very stong over the last 100 years...youve been hiding your training havent you?" He nodded and blushed a little "...i would be honored...to have you as my vice captain, but you have a long way to go in terms of matches...."

Georgio nodded "yes sir! ill make the squad proud!" He started to run off and back into the area waiting for his beautiful oponent to arrive.

hearing the Lions remark, "hah don't kid yourself, I am more then a tom boy, but even us females can bulsh, your handsome, but not that handsome, you haven't proven you worthy of me until you can beat me in a battle"., My ears picking up to the cane clacking too, hearing his voice as I smile toward Georgio, "well, looks like we are up next, I am sooooo looking forward to this, and No whom every draws first then the other opponant will draw next.

As I watch you walk to the the arena as I wait for you to talk to your Captain hearing your and his voice.

also making my way towards the same Captain I stand again and Salute Him "captain I promise I will not hurt Him I have been training my self in mental disipline, I swear no harm shall befall him and that our match will be ranked evenly, and just between you and Me, you have a very fine vice Captain in the making", Seeing the Fox Captian chuckle softly at my little commant, as I make my way to the arena, I feel the Captain hold My arm

"Shina, You two are one of a kind, if after this I would be honored if you and Georgio would joing me in my quaters I would like to talk to you both"

Saluting him again "YES SIR" I say in my normal voice as it was a command, making my way out to the centre arena, looking toward Georgio, "I am ready when ever you are".

The lion smiled as he saw her walk up. He drew his sword and looked in her eyes "ok, and dont worry i got a little too into it last time, i wont try anything so desperate this time" He disappeared and reappeared behind her "promise" Georgio quickly pecked her cheek and flash stepped away in front of her from a distance.

Watcing the lion as I see him draw his sword, as I reached and unsheathed my sword as well, " that is ok, I know this will be a very good fight", watching him disapear, as I look behind me seeing him come up from behind Murring softly as I see him back off in the distance, tuning around to face him, "I am ready when ever you are", as I take My fighting stance, waiting for him to make his real move

The lion smiled and charged right at he making a downward motion withi his sword.

Seeing the Lion charge toward me watching his pace and stance, as I draw my sword at a 30 degree angle waiting for the attack.

The lion smirked as their blades met and he pushed toward her gently "heh my my youve got quite a bit of strength behind that blade"
