A Blood Red Night.

A female cat walked alone in a dense forest. She wore a long cloak and a black scarf. The cloak hood covered her dark violet eyes and her scarf coverd her mouth. Her fur was redish in color. Her tail was long and fluffy. It was the dead of night and a full moon. She had exactully one hour until she changed. In a nearby bush a twig snapped.
She sighed and turned around. "Why have you been following me?" she asked into the darkness.

She wears a long grey cloak cape, with nothing under it. She has 2 necklaces both are hearts and one is black and the other is blood red.

Apperance: Tall (at least 6ft), is dressed in leather and small amounts of armor.

Jack moved through the Forest fallowing the trails of an unknown, but their was more to his duty than what others would suppect.

He managed to catch up to the one that made the tracks, however....Stepping on a Twig revealed his postion. He bared his teeth in his disappointment now that the...Female!? Has spotted him.

"...What you should be asking is: Who are you!?", he replied before stepping out into view.

"Ok, then, Who are you?" she said as the wolf stepped into view. "And if your trying to hunt me. Your outta luck. Im leaving." She chuckled and turned and started to walk away from the wolf.

[Alphaleader]

Jack Growled before grabbing a Dagger and quickly ran towards her holding it upside down. His only thought was capturing her and bringing her to Justice for her crimes.

[FluffyKitten]

She sighed and turned around. She got down and swiped her leg under his. He fell and she quickly pinned him down. "Dont press your luck hun, Im faster and stronger then you."she whispered.

[Alphaleader]

Jack was completely surprised at how she pinned him, but it also gave him insight about her. It was sort of an insult to his pride, "That Depends!!", he growled at her.

He struggled trying to flip her onto her back, "You...Won't....Get Away Thief!", he growled out.

[FluffyKitten]

She drew back. Thief? Who was this guy? she thought "I am no thief, I make a honest living!" She growled and got off him and started to walk away again.

Species: Wolf Anthro
Apperance: Apart from a green hooded cloak and terrain adjusted clothing (like it's green in the forrest) he wore a scar over his right eye. A quiver filled with arrows that had red feathers on the end. He wields a longbow and a small dagger. His fur is black and he got a tail wich stretched to his kneecaps.

The thief growled and got off the grey wolf, starting to move away. "Oh no you won't" he muttered aiming two arrows.

He released. The arrows flew through the air. Both did not miss their target and with a hard *Thunk* they catched the cloak of the felinefigure, pinning her down.

He dropped down from the treebranch he sat on, landing in front of her. "Well, what do we have here." He said, his face hidden in his hood.

Coming back to his senses, he reslized he was once again in this strange dream. A dream and yet, everything seemed so real. Why was he drawn to this same place for several nights ? Although he had had strange dreams in the past, he could not remember having experienced such a vivid and recurrent experiecne.
Flashback of last night hit him. He was running for his life, hunted !. For some reason, it seems like this place is not exactly Wonderland. Stupid you, what could happen to you anyway in a dream !
Yet, he could not refrain his instinct. He will be more cautious this time.

The sound of voices draw him from his thoughts. Slowly, he creeped amongst the bushes to watch the scene. Maybe he could find some help or better answers there. Maybe he'd be more lucky than last night.
Beside all the turmoil in his head, he could not helped but marvel at the physical sensations having a wolf body gives. Everything was so much sharper, had more depth to it.

A small fight was going on. Too bad, answers will have to wait. There was no point intefering before figuring who the 3 of them were and why they were fighting. He decided to watch the events unfold careful to remind hidden.

She raised her hand and put them on the arrows. "These arent going to hold me." she whispered. The moon was directly over head now. "Times up. Run unless yo~~-" she was cut of by the change. The arrows snapped because the pressure of her back arching. She dropped to her knees. They popped back ward in a chrunching montion. Her teeth popped out of her muzzle. The grew like saber teeth. She got alot bigger and fluffier, her claws grew longer and sharper. Her eyes went from violet to deep blood red.

[Alphaleader]

Jack was about to reply to her until a companion of his showed up to help him, he got up off his back to see how to confine her for questioning.

But soon the Moon light shined over them as her words were cut off. Jack's eyes only widened more to an Even bigger Surprise: the Female was slowly changing, her clothes ripping right in front of her as her body began to take on a more Savage nature.

"No...She's A WERE-BEAST!!!", Jack shouted as he pulled out two large Daggers and began to back away. "Let's go...WE Can't Take Her On.", he advise to Ruwrak as he got ready to make a mad dash away from the area.

[Pilou]

As the moon was bathing the creature in a shimmering light, he was paralyzed by the shocking vision. He knew he should back off but some invisible force was holding him immobile as he was still trying to figure what just happened.
Sure, he'd wake up soon, no reason to panick...

[Alphaleader]

Slowly Jack was beginning to notice that Ruwrak was standing still and not responding to his words. The Female's Transformation was almost complete, he quickly grabbed him and snapped him outta his shock. "Dammit!! Pull Yourself together and run!", he shouted before pulling him into his sprint.

[Ruwrak]

((Hehe, thought I mentioned a certain wolf beeing pinned down, no matter editing the post to make it match the story now))

"Jack... You didn't tell me to bring silver arrows." *A grin spreads across his hooded face while running along with his friend* "Any other one of your great plans?"

[Alphaleader]

Jack didn't reply back to Ruwrak the only thing he had on his mind right now was trying to escape.

All they truly had to protect themselves from her was they brought with them on this sudden Assighment.

"Less talking, More Running!", was all Jack could say to him.

[FluffyKitten]

The transformation was complete. She reared up and let out a rawr. Her instincts took over. Her eyes moved around to survey the clearing. The two had left but she knew they would be back with silver. Although, silver can kill the wolves, its gold that scares her the most. She knen she had to get rid of them.She let out a long howl and lept, bounding from branch to branch, smashing each one when she jumped.

[Alphaleader]

The sound of the Female's Roar Echoed loudly, Jack didn't even want to look back. But he did grasp Ruwrak's cloak and pulled him just so he could focus on running faster.

And if the stories about Were-Beasts were truthful, than she's gonna move alot Quicker then they Could!

She was infront of them. She droped from the tree as they ran up. She grabbed there cloaks to hold them still. "I told you. I needed to go. I said you had the wrong person. Now innocent people are going to die because of your mis-dead." She laughed and droped them. she pinned them down just by laying a tail on them. She bent down and held two claws up to the throats of her prey. "So now the hunter, becomes the hunted?" she laughed.

[Ruwrak]

Ruwrak started to laugh. "Hunter? Hunted? Hahaha. Foolish werebeast..." With his free arm he pulled out the dagger and made a swipe at arms that had grabbed his throat. He could hear it was successfull as the grip loosend enough to roll away from her clutches. "Jack! Time to move"

He jumped backwards and aimed another two arrows.... He released...

Jack wanted to say something to this Female but the Grasp around his neck was cutting off the air from him making it more difficult for him to speak.

But thanks to Ruwrak, he was able to remove himself and avoid her. He coughed as he tried to gain abit of air back. He was could see that it was just them against her, and so far the Odds were stacked against them. If this dosen't end swiftly things are about to become far worse.

Personality: Shy, but kind, keeps usually her self. In combat, she can be very cruel, though she is always quick-witted.
Weapons and armor: Medium bow with arrows, a battle sword and leather armour with thin steel sheets covering her torso from the front, shoulders, legs from the front and arms.

Voda lay crouched behind a group of large trees, her long dark-green cloak masking her presence. She watched the combat evolve and thought about her next move. She had been tasked with getting rid of a pest, but as any hunter knows, it is best to know your prey before attacking it...

Finally recovering from the shock, he followed the beast's track. She had again engaged the 2 hunters and they were seemngly in a pretty bad position. He had to find a way to grab the beast attention. Maybe he could get her to follow him far enough to avoid a blood bath.
Approaching from the side, he jumped on the back of the creature as 2 arrows were being released. He went for the ear, a good bite, strong enough to cause severe pain but no injury.

Elly caught both arrows in between her fingers. She felt something land in her fluff. Then something bit her ear. "Foolish furrys! If you knew whats best you would leave and let me be!" she howled again. She reached behind her sholder to get the wolf of her back. She grabbed its scruff and set it on the ground. "This not your fight little one." she said and jumped at the hunters. She grabbed Jacks leg and jumped up to the top of the nearst tree. She held him up side down over the ground.

[Whitescar]

Voda watched the fight draw to a close. The were-thing seemed to best every attack that the "hunters" made against it. She smiled below her hood. "Pathetic... They should know when they are out-classed..." She felt the bow on her side and ran her fingers down the metal decorations. They represented runes of accuracy and true flight that would help her arrows reach their destination with better results. She waited silently behind cover and just watched.

[Ruwrak]

((Okay it seems I am in a different time zone, trying to keep up as best as possible))

"Oh for the love of..." He started. In the rumour of the fight he heard something moving behind a bush. "If you're planning to help then do so, instead of smirking over us. I can see the glistening of your decorated bow there."

He turned his attention back to Jack, who was beeing dragged by his leg up to the top of a tree. *With an immensive power he jumped from the ground to the lowest branches, from there he jumped to the next set into the pursuit of the Werebeast.*

"Jack, catch!" *Flings a silver runed dagger to Jack*

[Whitescar]

Voda smiled to herself as she picked a hammerhead arrow and placed it on her bow. Tightening the string and aiming at the beast's left arm, she fired.
The heavy arrow hit the were-thing's shoulder, the flat metal end causing a bone jarring shock
that left the arm unresponsive for a few moments due to physical trauma.

[Pilou]

As a big paw grabbed him and smashed him into the ground, he let out a howl of pain. This was definitely not going as planned. The beast was already climibing in the trees. No way he could follow her for now.
His sight was still troubled friom the unexpected encounter with the ground. For a second, the beatiful cat was gracefully hoping from one branch to the next. For some reason, he felt a unexplicable bond with this strange creature.
He might never be able to find out if the fight ends up in a bad way.
Seeing another arrow flying by, he turned around and spotted an otter-like creature a few feet away, a bow in her hands.
Now this has to stop. she could be inadvertedly harming somebody shooting arrows lake that. In a swift move, he closed distance and jumped to grab the bow in his mouth.

The arrow hit her sholder with extreme force. She set Jack down gently on the branch and held him there with her tail. She lifted her arm up to the wound. She was bleeding. She raised her muzzle and howled.

[Alphaleader]

((Wow...Alot has happened (At about the same time) since I was away.))

Jack Managed to grab the Dagger as he was dropped to the branch below the Female were-beast, Even though he may have it in his hands. He wasn't intent on using it to it's Perpose.

This little battle had to end now.

"STOP!!!! Stop Fighting and Hear me out!", Jack shouted to all of them as he tried to get their attention.

[Whitescar]

Voda saw something move on the fringes of her vision and she ducked. A dark shape passed above her as its mouth tried in vain to grab her bow that was now safely a metre lower than where the assilant had aimed.
As the enemy hit the ground with a subtle roll and got to a fighting stance, Voda drew her sword and put away her bow. Someone yelled something, but Voda didn't have enough concentration to listen, she had a bow-snatcher to deal with...

[Ruwrak]

He froze, having an arrow on his bow and the string tensed but he didn't fire.
"Jack, what are you up to?" He yelled.

[Pilou]

Missed...well, at least, she had to drop the bow.

Rolling quickly on his side, he made a quick turn-around leaving enough distance between him and the woman in dark green cloak. Low on his paws, muscles tense, gaze locked in her eyes, he was ready to dodge any move.

[Alphaleader]

"What else!? Were not gonna fight anymore!!", Jack replied as he caught the Attention of the Female Were-Beast.

"Listen! I don't know who you are, but were not gonna Chase you anymore. You are free to do Whatever you were Trying do. My Duty has nothing to do with a Creature like you....Nor with the Death of others. We'll go back our way while you go back to yours.", Jack Explained just before he dropped the Silver Dagger.

Hopefully this would gain some Trust between each other.....Hopefully.

[Ruwrak]

"Now there is a plottwist..." He mumbled. The dagger dropped into the ground with it's hilt up. He loosened the tension on the string somewhat still not fully trusting the situation.

[Whitescar]

Voda looked at her enemy, seeing consentration in his eyes. She held her sword double-handed at her side, muscles tensed to slash at the enemy with a swing from below. Seeing that he was not that heavily armoured, she judged that a good hit would see his gut cut open wide. She moved closer, her light steps careful to maintain her footing. "Run while you still have the chance..." She whispered to her enemy. She did not want to kill him, but if it came down to it, she wouldn't hesitate.

Not sure as to how he got there, the voices of other awakens the slumbering lion as he stumbled to his feet.

The sword was threatening. He maneuvred cautiously to maintain a safe distance with his foe ready to dodge any move. He continued to fix her gaze as he refrained the urge to bare his teeth, no need to provoke her as she seemed to be the kind to hit first, talk later.
He slightly relaxed his position in an attempt to defuse the situation.

[Whitescar]

Voda held her sword ready and stopped. "Leave. Back down and your life will be spared. Attack or stay and you are as good as dead... We both know it..." She held her weapon ready, but let the tip descend.

[Pilou]

He slowly started to move back not trusting her any second yet the tension has dropped slightly. She seemed a bit too sure of herself but there was no point finding out the truth in this matter.
'I have no intention to harm you' He let out, half surprised that he could speak actually with a human voice yet this was a dream, wasn't it ?

[Whitescar]

"Then stay away, if you know what is best for you..." Voda replied, lowering her sword. She picked up her bow with her left hand and put it in his quiver along with the arrows. (is that correct, quiver?)
"Stay away and you won't get killed..." She put her sword into its scabbard and took another arrow to the string, aiming at the were-thing. This one was a similar hammerhead arrow and was aimed at the creature's head. She released the string.
The arrow flew straight and true, hitting the were-beast right between the eyes. There was a crack that could have been bone or wood, but nonetheless, the were-thing fell off its branch and unto the ground.
Voda put a steel arrow to her bow, a razor tipped one, and moved off to the left to get a clear shot.

Elly howled as she hit the ground. It took a minute for to stand back up. "I have no need to fight. "she growled and walked up to the wolf in a fighting stance. She picked it up and bounced of with it cuddled agnist her chest. "I bid you a do, and if you follow you will die." she said solomily.

[Ruwrak]

Beeing squished against her chest he tried to breathe.


"Huuuuh.... cough cough. So why were we send to kill you then? The townsfolk have been quite upset." *Seathes his bow and arrow* He looked her directly in her big eyes.

Clouds were moving overhead.

[Alphaleader]

Jack sighed as the Event was now passing. And it was sure they may never know who the True Thief was that got away this night, but he was glad no One was injured.

However as he begun to relax, the Tree branch that he was on cracked under his weight as he fell back to mother Terra (Earth). He hit the ground with a thud, but other than feeling alittle beat up, he was fine.

"Damn....I could use the strongest drink right about now.", he groaned abit.

[Pilou]

Too focused on his opponent, he realised only too late that the were creature had come down. He was startled as two strong arms grabbed and immobilized him. After a moment of sheer panick, he managed to get hold of himself again. In no position to argue, he decided to submit for now. Many questions were pressing his mind. He remained silent trying to dissipate the utter confusion he was feeling.

[Whitescar]

(Ok, just to clear things up a bit: WHO is being carried away by the Were-bunny thinggy?)

Voda spat a curse as her prey escaped. Its hide would have been a good addition to her collection. She loosened the string of her bow and placed the pointy arrow into his quiver, along with the bow.
Tightening the dark green cape around her, Voda disappeared into the night, the forest swallowing her like a fish swallows a hook.

[Ruwrak]

((I believe I was hugged, but not carried away))

Ruwrak stumbled over to Jack. *Holding out his paw* "Come on Jack, time to go back to that village and ask around a bit.... And get you a drink, haha she got you good huh?" he said with a little spark in his eyes.

[Alphaleader]

Jack Cracked his back in reply towards Ruwrak. "I just hope we'll be able to track down that thief.....if not, we'll just have to let it slip.", he stated just before he started walking back towards the village.

[Ruwrak]

He laughed softly under his dark green hood. "Don't worry, we will probably find her again she leaves big tracks." And with that he followed Jack.

[Whitescar]

Voda had already left the woods. Running on all fours, she managed to get out before any other of the people who had been involved in the fight. Jumping on her horse, she rode the beast quickly to a nearby town where she accidentally stayed for the moment.
Changing her clothes into normal casual wear, she placed her belongings inside the stalls and went to the tavern where she worked as a bar maid.

[Alphaleader]

Jack sighed, "...She wasn't the thief.", he corrected him as he walked.

The Events unfolded in his mind piece by piece as he tired to figure out what was happening...but all he could do was anwser question after question....and what really puzzled him was; What was her role in saving an entire Village!? Her words echoed in his mind, and worried him.

Misfortune was bond to come. And with it, more worry in his thoughts.

[Ruwrak]

"Not the thief you say? Interresting" So how about we go to that tavern with the good drinks and wait for the day and continue the investigation?"

[Whitescar]

Voda was greeted with the smell of a dozen pipes and week old alcohol stains. She tried to ignore the "aroma" and went to work, bringing stouts to the thirsty men who manned the tavern.
The log cabin had a high roof and two fireplaces, on the other of which lay a whole pork, skewered and roasting.

[Ruwrak]

Jack and Ruwrak entered the tavern, after a quick look they found a table and sat down.

"So, what's your take on all this Jack? It seems a bit awkward? A werebeast and a rather populated forest at night."

*Gestures at a waitress for two drinks*

[Alphaleader]

The smell of stewed Pork was high in the Air and coursed it way through the snout of any fur that was near making any empty stomach growl with such passion for wanting to taste and Devour it.

Even though Jack sat, he wasn't truly focused about eating. But lately he's been recapping the Evening in hopes of finding the truth.

"..I don't wanna think of this matter for too long. But we might as well remember what our task was. We already know what we were suppost to protect: The Braclet.

Now...What were about to discuss...we speak low...and Never tell to anyone else!

But that braclet is Older Than any Elder that's living today! The first King who found it paved way for this place and others and Has been passed down from one family member to the Next in Line! From what I can tell, someone wants it for their own gain.", Jack explained whispering to Ruwrak with his head looking down.

[Ruwrak]

*Whispers in a low voice* "So, we're looking for that bracelet. Did you happen to notice if that werebeast had it? And if not, I wonder why she was there."

*Looks around*

"Not to mention, something in this town is off."

[Alphaleader]

Jack sighed, "No....I didn't see it...either way...I doubt we'll even find it tomarrow.", he replied in a disappointed tone. It was shameful that the Thing was even stolen from under them, They were too laxed in it's Protection!

His Ears soon perked up as he heard Ruwrak comment about this town, "Foolish thoughts. Were just tired from chasing....and being chased.", he anwsered.

[Whitescar]

Voda came around to the two, bringing two healthy jugs of ale. Nodding towards the roasting pork on the fireplace, she asked the two if they wanted anything to eat. Though she had been in the forest with them, she had not seen the faces of either one. Furthermore, since she was using her service-voice, she didn't even sound alike to her warriorself.

[Ruwrak]

"Pork? Oh no thanks ma'am. I've lost my appatite a while ago."

Jack took the jug and consumed a large portion of it in two gulps! He knew he had to stay sober, but it was to dull the pain alittle. "Thank you ma'am.", he thanked just before opening his hand to give her some coins.

[Whitescar]

Voda nodded as she took the coins, leaving the two men to their drinks.

Sips from his drink... "We're wasting time here arn't we Jack?"

Voda looked at the two from behind the bar counter where she was cleaning some glasses. Somehow those voices seemed familiar. Could it have been they, who had just been out in the forest? They certainly had muddy enough boots on them. She decided to keep an eye on them, though nearly every other man in the tavern had muddy boots on too.

[Alphaleader]

"Maybe. But right now we need to rest.", Jack replyed.

She losened her grip and let the wolf slid from her arms. She jolted off back toward the village. The moon sunk away and she changed back to a small heep of fur. She fell to the ground and fell to deep sleep. Dreams roused in her mind, a murder was pictured and durning the beginnings of dawn one was committed.

[Ruwrak]

((Yay she's back!!! She's Back!!!))

He looked around the tavern. Something felt familliar. "Do you think the waitress is looking at me?"

[Alphaleader]

"Why? She attracted to you.", he replyed chuckling under his breath alittle.

[Whitescar]

Voda picked up another plate of pints and walked around the bar, handing them over to the thirsty men, and women, around the tavern. Though she felt them normally too, someone's gaze was upon her back. She did not like being watched like that, though many of the men usually oggled her. Turning around to return to the bar counter, she noticed the source of her odd feeling, the other of the two she had seen in the forest was looking at her. "Have I been spotted? No, impossible... He is either horny or mistrustful, probably both..." She went on with her business and kept her eyes away from the man.

[Pilou]

As a sudden and irresistible wave of slumber washed over, he watched the forest scene dissolves in his mind. His futile attempt to fight against the tide was hopeless. He knew he would not be free until he figured what was drawing him here night after night. The frustration finally let go as he slid into the void.

Elly awoke to find her hands covered in blood. She sat up to find she was behind the tavern. She sighed and washed off her hands in a small puddle and casually walk to the nearest outfitters to pick herself out a new robe. A few minutes later she walked in to the tavern wearing a new silk robe trimmed with fur. She noticed to two men who stopped her last night. She sat down next to them and said "Hi boys."

[Whitescar]

Voda smelled blood. Someone with blood on her hands had entered the bar. The smell was faint and almost unnoticable due to the smoke from the pipes, but it was there. And it wasn't the smell of any blood either. It was the blood of another sentient being, a wolf...

[Ruwrak]

The haires on his neck rose up. But he and Jack didn't move. For a while the bar froze and all sound was silenced. -"Where have I heard that voice before. Is she..." The tavern came back to life. His head jerked up and looked her straight into her bright violet eyes. "You..."

[Alphaleader]

As Jack tried to sip more from his mug, he was surprised by the Female as she sat down next him an Ruwrak. The large mug almost fummbled in his hands, he set it down.

"WHo might you be!?", he asked.

[Ruwrak]

He gave Jack a questioning look. "Surely you remember people who try to rip your heart out?"

[FluffyKitten]

"Me. I'm Elly." She smiled and tapped her claws on the table. Her hands still had blood on them. "So? Did ya miss me?" she let out a loud laugh.

[Alphaleader]

"....Well....I guess i'm blind.", he replyed as he sat their. "So your name's Elly.", he replied.

[Ruwrak]

He kept one hand on a small dagger hanging on his left side. "Perhaps... What are you doing here anyway?"

[Whitescar]

Voda moved pass them, asking the girl if she wanted anything to drink and taking her order. While she lingered in the viscinity, attending to other tables' needs, she was able to overhear enough. "So she's the were-thing... Good to know..."

[FluffyKitten]

"Im not gonna kill you if thats what you think." she whispered. She looked at the two. "A murder was commited last night. I saw it and I didnt." she whispered.

[Whitescar]
