Remember When we first met
How you would call me names
I think you called me a dumb ass
damn I felt so ashamed
But look at us now
We are still together
I hope that this is not the end
Cause I want it to last forever
What does it take

Wishing you were here
Laying beside me through the night
How I want you next to me
So I can hold you so tight
I look at you with envy
And jelousy with rage
I can't stand to see you with another
hiding behind my guilded cage
I want to show you how I feel
But afraid to let my feelings go
Will you have the same feelings for me
Maybe but I'll never know
Each time we make love
I want you more each day
But I can't have you like I want to
So my friendship is where we'll stay

These poems were all inspired by my man. He helped me out when I was in Afghanistan. I was there for six months and I was in a "red" zone. Our Love for each other had to go all the way here to the states. We were a world apart and we made it all work and I could not be happier.
