Never will I know his name.
Always different and always the same.
A pirate’s golden treasure trove
Tucked away in mermaids’ cove.
Berserker armies, less man more beast.
Tearing through war with bladed peace.
Dragon slayers, knights and swords
Defeat the dark knights and evil lords.
Me in silk or rags and rope,
Waiting the hero bearing all hope,
For I was the damsel he always did free.
And in return he’d lean in to kiss me.
Then my face he would gently cup
And before we could, he always woke up.
Always different and always the same.
A pirate’s golden treasure trove
Tucked away in mermaids’ cove.
Berserker armies, less man more beast.
Tearing through war with bladed peace.
Dragon slayers, knights and swords
Defeat the dark knights and evil lords.
Me in silk or rags and rope,
Waiting the hero bearing all hope,
For I was the damsel he always did free.
And in return he’d lean in to kiss me.
Then my face he would gently cup
And before we could, he always woke up.
