C.C Cafe

[Kansai Lai]

On a grey afternoon, with the light spring rain falling gently outside, the inside of a small cafe remains warm and dry. Beside the window sits a pizzly bear, her creamy fur marred with brown footpaws, brown sleeves reaching her elbows and dark spots over her eyes. She sips an oversized mug of cocoa, idly staring out at the dark sky.

Walking in a small bell rang, a white bear with jeans, shirt and a jacket with a laptop on a pack entered the place, setting in on one of the tables as he looked at the place...new place...maybe give it a try...after all it had internet.

[whitefang]

A large white wolf wearnig noting but a coller walkes slowly in pushing the door open with one claw "Hu its nice in here, i wounder if they coffee?" he says as he sits at the booth in the corner and drums his claws slowly.

[Nicholay]

Nicholas entered the establishment as well, his face rather monotone. His pitch-black fur slightly reflected the lights in the room, giving it a wet feeling. His gold-yellow eyes slowly observed the room, examining the creatures present and the room's furniture. The place looked nice enough.

The feline walked to a free table in the corner of the room, where the light was slightl gloomier, it gave an even creepier atmosphere around him, because you could almost only make out his eyes in the darkness of the corner. A waiter walked to him and Nicholas made his order, he was a bit thirsty.

white sat in the corner booth staring at the bear next to the still druming his claws his white fur even shinyer from the rain

By the time she took her last gulp of cocoa, it had gone stone cold. Lai wasn't quite ready to go out into the rain. Maybe once it slowed down a bit more. She brought her mug back to the counter to get a refill. Maybe even a chocolate chip cookie or two. Her dark honey eyes flicked over the other furs in the cafe, noticing a white wolf looking back at her. Quickly she drew her eyes away, ears pressing down in embarressment. She could feel her cheeks get hot.

white got up and walked over to the beartosing a bill on the conter "coco is on me"stairing in to your eyes with my soft blue ones"hi im white nice to meet you" he holds out a paw.

[Kansai Lai]

Ears still pressed flat, she shyly held out her own, giving a rather firm shake. "Likewise, I'm Lai. Um, thank you for buying me my um cocoa." She fumbled over her words, flustered by the unanticipated attention.

"no big hun."white says softly and deply "how are you this fine, well slighly glumy day?"
he said slowly sitting down next to the bear puting one leg over the other and leaning on the counter

[Kansai Lai]

Lai became increasingly intimidated with his display of confidence. "I-I"m doing pretty well. Not doing much expect drink hot chocolate and watch the sky." She could counter her nervousness with talking a little more.

the sky does look pritty nice dosent it i didnt real look til now i say as i look out the window "but me i cant drink coco cant staned the tast of chocolate"i sense the bears destres and lay down my fur and tail to make myself smaller to try and help calm here

[Kansai Lai]

"Oh." It's a very short response. There's not much she could say to that. The new cup is passed over the counter, her cocoa covered in whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel. Lai thanks the server, smiling sweetly, and takes her mug and cookies back to her table. She gives White a glance, just to see if he'll stay behind or end up joining her at her table. The pizzly isn't sure whether or not she wants to continue this conversation.

White starts to sit back but see the glance from the shy bear. He gets and slowly prances to the table swishing his tail. "May I or is it to bold of me" He says as he puts a paw on the seat.

[Kansai Lai]

She can already tell that he is determined and she can't think up a good reason to tell him no. "Go right ahead," Lai says, blowing on her drink before having a sip. Her ursine ears relax and stop trying to fuse with her scalp.

White saw the look in her eye and knew it all to well, the way her eyes darted up and to the left before she spoke, showing she was thinking deeply." Now dont go thinking like that hun if you wish me to go I will , I just though you look like someone who could give a good chat over tea..... or well at this time coco.

[Nicholay]

The black cat observed thetwo, he already received his order, a big cup of green tea. The aroma started to spread around the cafe, as Nicholay took a sip of the liquid. The warm feeling nicely moved down his throat, warming up his all body.

He then took out some book and started to write something into it, it was near impossible to see what he wrote, because of the weak lighting in the corner.

*sniff sniff sniff* "mmmmmmm green tea" white looks around and sees the cat " hello"
he holds up three claws and waves

[Nicholay]

The feline glanced at the one who noticed him. He seemed to greet Nicholay. It seemed rather strange, because most creatures usually avoided him for his gloomy personality. Nevertheless, it was impolite to not reply and he raised his paw in gettings as well. He then lowered it to take a sip of his tea. He wasn't the talkative type.

White played with the ring in his left as he gave a strage look to the cat then snaped his head back to the bear, he than put his leg down and crossed the other one over it.

Shyly, she took a sip of her drink. The flavor was rich and sweet with cream. Licking her muzzle, she held the cup up still and asked, "So..." She was terrible at starting conversations. But she was good at keeping them going.

Good, he saved her from an awkward silence. "I like songs with a good beat. The kind I can dance to. But I also like songs with good lyrics. I like singing along with them." She took along sip, getting some cream on her nose. She giggled and licked it off. "How about you?"

The wolf giggled a bit at the bears giggle"same here i like to be abekl to sing with it but i mostly like old rock,AcDc,Arowsmith,G&R,but i like newer ones to ,korn, slipknot what bands do you like?*he said as he keppt playing with the ring in his ear.

[Kansai Lai]

"Well, I like a lotta stuff. Like the Rolling Stones, Dresden Dolls, E Nomine, and Maximum the Hormone. Things like that." She got more comfortable as she spoke, but still feared she would speak too much

The wolf poped his claws as he spoke o Rolling Stones hu there good *he pulls out a psp and messes with it"shit ....i dont have any of there songes on here wow i though i did ..... o forgive me if i rambel i tend to talk a lot.

"No, no, I don't mind at all." She pulled out an ipod from her pocket, immediately setting it to She's A Rainbow. She passed him her headphones. She hated earbuds and only used external earphones.

White passed his psp over to the bear and a pair of Skullcandy on ear headphones and held the ones she handed him up to his ear "I dont realy know whats on mine I dont use it that much so look and see if theres any thing good on it" he said as he bucked his head a bit listening to the song

She didn't respond, merely tuning int to see, or rather hear just how good his musical tastes were. Her footpaw began to tap, and she hummed along with some of the songs she recognized.

I have a lot of diffrent types on there but no rap or contry... cant stand them"
he kept bucking his head softly as he held the headphones to his left ear taping a claw on the table

Oh thank goodness for that. Having her sister and father blast those out in the past respectively killed any chances of her liking them. She listened to a few more songs, drinking her cocoa all the while, before turning off the device and handing it back to him. "You have very good taste."

[Fallon Piper]

The brass bell rang as the door opened, Fallon walked in out of the cold wet weather. It was nice and warm inside, her ears perked to the soft sounds of people conversing and glass and ceramic cups contacting tables.

Fallon a 23 year old Lioness dressed in black work out pants, a white tank top and a black leather coat. Standing at 5ft 7 she was quite a decent size, extremely fit and athletic an obviously dominant female. Her silky smooth golden coat blending in with the creamy white chest and tummy coat, she shook the rain drops from her ears and head and brushed it from her coat.

Her golden eyes darted casually around the Cafe and found a booth to sit at, taking off her damp leather coat and sitting it next to the wall in the seat she sat down and ordered a black coffee. The muscles of her upper body clearly visible and defined, she was on her way back home from the gym when the rain came and she decided to come into the cafe to see if it tapered off so she would not get so wet on the walk home.

*This is a nice looking place, I've never been here before. Mmm the coffee sure is good too, hope this rain lets up so I can get home and relax in my hot tub.*

She sat quietly, sipping her coffee and stared off out the window.

[Fallon Piper]

Fallon smiled and waved back at the wolf, she did not know anyone around here since moving in not long ago. She had just started at the iron gym last week, it was a great gym and had all the free weights and Olympic plates and barbells any lifter could want aside from the annoying machines.

*Good thing I showered at the gym, to show up wet and smelly would have been embarrassing.*

[Nicholay]

Nick just finished his tea and noticed the lioness etering. Her bodybuild was interesting, not usual for females. The golden eyes looked at her from the dark corner, it kind of looked like the walls had eyes. Maybe he was interested in getting to know her but his closed nature didn't let the thought start his movement.

Pushing the door open with one of those overly large paws of hers a large female Siberian tiger would be walking into the Cafe her tummy gurgling as she waves paws at the furrs inside. "Hello! I'm Kelly Nice to meet you all!" This large tiger was overly excited and loved making friends.

sup kelly" white said as he waved three claws at her

Waves back to the one who waved at her as she'd walk towards them with a smile showing her massive teeth but was a rather friendly kitty. "Not much..Just looking for friends."

[Kansai Lai]

The she-bear couldn't help but chuckle at the enthusiasm of this other female. "Nice to meet you," she said, her voice bubbling with laughter. "I'm Lai." She glanced over to White, making sure he'd heard it as well. He had askd first.

Giggled some as she saw everyone being pleasent. "I was a little over excited...I tend to do that..But it grabs peoples attention and helps me make new friends." She moved towards Lai putting a paw out to shake her own.

I give a small nod to lai then look at the tiger and smile"no stress hun i do it to"

It's nice not to be judged cause I'm overly excited..It's part of my nature

[Fallon Piper]

Fallon grinned at the exuberant tigress that just arrived, she waved back happily. *This is really a nice place, I'm not used to this many people being this nice and open. Beats where I came from in many ways.*

She sensed eyes on her just then, perhaps a little before she registered the feeling. She looked around and found the source, off into a corner booth was a flash of golden eyes. She had never seen a Neko herself, then again she had not had much contact with anyone. He appeared shy, and now more so now that her gaze had found him. She decided it might be nice to have the company of a stranger in this new place, she had no friends so far so it couldn't hurt. So in her kindest voice.

"Hello there. You know, if you like you could sit with me. I wont bite, I promise."

She said with a smile, and a hint of a giggle.

She nodded letting those Emrald green eyes look around..Standing as tall as she did she stuck out. not to mention her coloration was..Bright. Orange and black wasn't like she could blend in with other furrs, but when it came to the wild she blended in rather well. "I like this place."

[Nicholay]

Nick blinked slowly and stood up. A small grin visible, as he moved out of the dark corner. His built wasn't as strong-looking as Piper's but he had his nice points. Stopping a waiter on the way, he rdered another cup of coffee for the lady and some green tea for himself. After that he walked to the table and sat just across Fallon.

"Nice to meet you," his voice was rather calm, showing his ability to hold his emotions.

[Fallon Piper]

She took another sip of her coffee as the Neko strolled over and seated himself across from her in the booth, his little grin was pleasant as he settled in and greeted her.

"Nice to meet you as well, I'm Fallon. And I'm new to the area."

A moment later a waiter shuffled by, sitting another cup of coffee in front of her and a tea for him.

[Nicholay]

The feline nodded and took a sip of his tea. The strong aroma spread around once again, showing that the tea was rather strong. He licked his lips and looked at Fallon.

"Nick, just call me Nick. I see you are the type who likes to work out?"

The cat got comfortable, he was quite curious about his companion.

[Fallon Piper]

"Very pleased to meet you Nick."

She said cheerfully, extending her rather large but still well manicured paw.

"Yes, I do like to keep myself in top shape. I tend to feel a lot better being in shape, not just when I look in the mirror but health wise. Thanks for the coffee by the way, I'm new here so it is very nice to meet some one."

[Nicholay]

Instead of shaking the paw, Nick brought it to his mouth and landed a soft kiss onto it. He had some strange quircks that most people didn't understand correctly.

"It's nice to see new faces here, it's like adding new colors to the painting, which is our town."

He took another sip of his tea and looked at Fallon again.

"So, you've been working out since..." he hinted the sentence into a wuestion and waited for the reply.

[Fallon Piper]

Unexpectedly he took her paw and kissed it gently, she blushed slightly at this old time gesture.

"Well...it is nice to see some one who believes in the old ways."

For a moment she was a bit nervous, she could barely figure out what to say after that surprise.

"Thankee Sai, I never thought I would find some one who could craft words like you seem to be able to do."

She took a drink of her coffee a little nervously, not any thing to do with him. But she had just noticed she used an odd dialect, and was hoping maybe he did not notice.

"Well, I've been working out for quite a while. In high school I was into track and also in gymnastics, gymnastics is what introduced me into weights. I've been really into it for a few years now."

[Nicholay]

The feline showed a smile. He liked it when girls got nervous, they usually looked so cute at those moments. The cat listened carefully to her and let out a pleasent purr, as he took another sip of his tea.

"I see, so I'll be guessing that you're be the type to expect a lot of respect from males? Don't take me wrong, it's just not often to see a female with a body like yours," he bowed his head, apologizing in advance.

[Fallon Piper]

"I do. Nothing wrong in that I wot, males expect it from me so it is only fair. And thank you for the compliment, I do work hard on keeping healthy."

She managed a less nervous smile this time, she normally was not easily made nervous but being in a new place and all it was bound to happen at some point.

"So...how long have you been around here? Sorry if I appear to be stumbling for words here, has been a while since I've met any one new I wot."

[Nicholay]

"It's alright, it makes you look cute, if really," the cat chuckled, "Anyway, I've been living in the house a few blocks away for 5 years now, if I remember correctly. By the way, your dialect seems familiar, any chance of you revealing your native dialect?

[Fallon Piper]

"Well I have a habit of dropping into a little of an accent lately, it is called Argot. I like this place, every one seems to be very nice."

[Nicholay]

"I am glad about that. The people around here are indeed nice. I don't socialize much with them, though."

The feline took the last sip of his tea and gestured the waiter to bring his 3rd jug of tea. The black cat stared at Fallon with his golden eyes. The stare wasn't cold, though. In fact, it seemed like he was just shy.
