In the Wilderness

The young lion walked happily through the thick wooded pine forrest high up in the Mountains. The air was fresh and the wind was cool, yet the sun beamed down to create a warming glow upon the lions fur. He sat down on a knee high rock that overlooked the valley below, admiring the glistening lake a few hundred feet down the slope.

While twigs, leaves, and other small bits of underbrush were a bit of a pain to pluck out of her fur after a hike, Bly was enjoying the weather. Her long, curled hair was pulled back behind her horns, but every so often a current of wind would blow a strand into her face. Walking stick in hand, she made her way through the forest. While going barefoot could be a pain, she found it difficult to work with shoes or boots; they just didn't accomidate her digitized legs. Bly smiled and took in a long breath of air. She used her free hand to briefly adjust her backpack, and continued on. She wasn't sure how long she had been going uphill, but she could see what appeared to be the hill's summit. She spotted a figure on the rocks, and slowed her pace. He was definitely a big fellow. Of course, being as small as she was, everyone was big.

It had been years after the war and Tier was feeling pretty good about himself. He had used some of his pancion to go and take a vacation of sorts. The wind blew lightly around the fox like creature billowing out his sleeveless black trench coat. His tight white V necked shirt and baggy black cargo pants rippeled slightly with the wind and his tall Black Jacj boots crinched agienst the rocks as he walked. He carried a ruck pack and a travelers staff along with the crossed bullet belts and pistol holsters that hung at his hips harbering twin .308 caliber pistols with scopes. Tier enjoyed the open air and loved the breathtaking sceneryyou just did not fond in the cities and towns he was used to. He saw the two creatures and hailed them knowing it best to make his presence known before attempting to wander up unannounced. "Hale, travellers! Gutentag! Mind if I join you for a spell?" The grey fox Vulpa strode boldly forward as not to draw any suspicion, in some places it was still legal to shoot unwanted visitors who entered your camp.

Alucard was one who was a traveler. He was an angelic catguy who stood to be about 6 feet tall. He was one that didn't seem to age, but if he actually were wearing clothing that allowed a good portion of his face or body to be visible, he would look to be like that of a 20 year old.

He was dressed in rather odd attire considering that these were more modern times then what he had been used to. Many times, he would create housing or some form of shelter for himself and live in areas for chunks of time.

He had decided to create a home in this area of wilderness with mountains and whatnot actually built into the cave. Though if one were to enter, it would look to be a fusion of middle ages appearring archetecture with modern things like electrical lighting and other such things.

But for now, Alucard was outside wandering around a bit when he noticed a few others nearby.

Alucard decided maybe it best to approach these others and at least say hello.

"Greetings to you travelers. Is your day going well and pleasant?" Alucard asked in a friendly manner, despite his attire might be seem as somewhat the opposite. It would also be visible to others that he had what looked to be a decent sized sword at his hip which he could use as well. But what the sword was made of or how old it was would not be able to be knoen by seeing what little of the handle that was visible.

Tier shrugged as he looked around. "It goes about as well as can be expected, I could complain but it wont do no good. Well where are you all heading? Been following the wind and breese myself." He said good naturedly. Tier was glad to happen to see anyone of some medium of intelligence nowadays. Too many creatures of this younger generation were still harboring thier "tough guy" feelings to the Vulpa and the Humans who had reconciled thier differences many years ago.

"Me, I live around this area. Nice of an area to enjoy the aspects of nature and being able to relax, without the annoyances and noisiness of the city. But, then again, for some, a life out here may be too peacful and could drive some a tad bit goofy I suppose." Alucard said with a smile.

Tier nodded and bowed in the cuirous custom of his people as opposed to the norm of simply shaking paws. "Well allow me to introduce myself, name's Tier Deshane, former Hunter of the Vulpine Military. Personally, I love it out here, reminds me of my homeworld." Tier adjusted his pack and looked up the hillside and turned back with a devil-may-care look. "Well traveler mayhaps I should be honest with you, you know of a decent bit of news or something of the sort? They said that back in the day these mountains were the place of a great battle betreen two races and that thier camps still hold the secret to some treasure of some sort... depending on what camp you find." Tier waived his hand dismissingly. "Of course you can probably get the same story out of a every drunk in every lodge every dozen miles or so you know? Still though I like to think thier is something still out there and go hiking everyonce and awhile. Makes it a bit more fun."

"I have lived here for quite some time. Unfortunatly, my memory of quite a while back is sketchy so I do not believe I would be able to assist you."

"By the way, my name is Alucard. Alucard Rezillo at your service." Alucard said with a polite bow that might look like one would do from a type of Victorian era age.

"But yes, it is unfortunate that that war happened. Ones such as myself who in either society would be considered an outcast due to either looking human like but with some animal attributes, it seemed to not matter. If there were others who seeked refuge or a place to stay, I would allow them to stay. Usually, it was people who did not agree with the war and wished to go to a place where they could get away from the fighting and that they did not mind aspects of being with human or Vulpa." Alucard said.

"For me, it was a matter of helping those in need, you know?" Alucard said with a non visible smile.

Tier nodded, "Well Alucard I'm going to go ahead and head up this little hillside and see what I can find, bit of an adventure ja? You're welcome to come with but it might a tad dangerous." He started up the hill side trudging up not really heading anywhere inparticular. Tier had a map but the odds of finding any kind of help there was slim to none. He stopped and looked around finding nothing of intrest that cought his eye he continued. Tier wasn't just looking at the land he was surveying it. The tell tell features in the landscape depecting some kind of depression or anchent trenchlines that had been dug as defences agienst the two armies.

"I would have no problems joining you. Would be better then being alone. Though, you will have to excuse me if I talk quite a lot. If it is not a problem, would you have a problem say, resting up and get a fresh start in the morning? After all, it looks like you have been traveling for a good portion of the day, and it is getting late also. What do you say? Would you care to rest up for the night or no?" Alucard asked.

Tier looked around and nodded blinking slowly as he took in the lay of the landscape. "Yes, that would be quite refreshing, I have been traveling for a good distance afterall. How about you leade the way, you said you were from here ja? We could camp at the place of your choice and get a fresh start in the morning." Tier turned to follow Alucard making mental notes of his surroundings so that he would be able to relocate this position to resume his search in the morning. He did not want to loose the trail and besides, who'd be willing to try to pass up the opportunity for riches?

"I can do better then that. If you wish, I can teleport us to the entrance of my house, but those who are not used to it, at times their stomachs kinda go goofy on them so to speak. Hmm, maybe we should walk it. Sorry. Was thinking out loud it seems." Alucard said as he motioned for the other to follow him.

About 15 minutes later, they seemed to be at the base of a small mountain at the entrance of what appeared to be a cave that had some form of supports and large old looking wooden door.

"Now you may think it odd that it is a looking like the enterance to a mine or cave perhaps, but wait till we go inside a bit here." Alucard said as he opened the door allowing Tier to enter and then closing it.

It's just down here a bit." Alucard said, his glowing blue eyes seeming to act almost as though a supe weak flashlight. Alucard snapped his fingers, causing his hand to glow a bright neon orange color.

They then came to another door after heading down a long passageway.

"Well, here we are." Alucard said as he opened the door. "Please come on in." Alucard said as he entered.

Tier followed the cat into the cave. "No not at all, you're fine. Talking to one's self is not a sighn of madness it just means you want a intelligent conversation." Tier chuckled to himself as thy reached the cave. "Nice. No, no, I like it, easily concealable, the natural formations take up the weakness of a fabricated structure." He smiled to himself. "Sorry once a Hunter always a Hunter. Tier followed Alucard into the darkness and paused allowing his eyes to adjust to the dark and letting his nightvision take over. He walked deeper into the cavern and proceded to walk through the door Alucard had opened.

Tier might be surprissed that when he walked in, lights of some sort turned themselves on after Alucard entered after him.

What he would see would make it look as though being the inside of something similar to a type of house similar to say, Reinassiance Era house in Archetecture but with things that looked similar to modern age things as well.

The lights instead of say, being candles or light bulbs seemed to be made of some form of crystalline type object. There was a living room with a rather large Television, flat in nature. There was a large couch as well as a type of single chair that looked to have lots of cushioning on it.

Across the halll from the Living room was that rather large kitchen and dining area. The fridge seemed to be quite large, looking to be made something like aluminum polished metal, and the grips or handles of the friendge seemed to be like a polished onyx colored material. The stove/oven combo unit was also of decent size as well. The top of it seemed Almost perfectly smooth with four large octagon type crimson red polished stone like things on top of it with a elongated 8 sided one in the middle, splitting each of the two.


"Well, here is the Kitchen and the living room. Would you care to allow me to show you to a room you may use for the evening?" Alucard asked as he snapped his fingers, his body engulfing in a type of neon blue flame, seeming to "Burn" the clothing off of him, even though no heat was produced. The flames then repositioned themselves, and the vanished, allowing Alucard to be in a completly different type of attire.

Alucard was now dressed in dark black boots that went halfway up the shin, what looked to be dark black jeans,a dark grey tanktop, sky blue fingerless gloves and what looked to be stylish neon sapphire colored mirror lensed shades.

Tier might notice that Alucard's body looked a tad bit on the feminine side. Of course, Tier might have possibly seen that Alucard had two instead of one male bits, but that was not a for sure thing. Alucard's hair was brown and in a simple waist length ponytail.

"There we go, a lot more comfotable now." Alucard said as his blade floated and rested on a nearby shelf.

Tier set his pack against the wall by the door. "This place is pretty nice." He was slightly taken aback at the flames but setteled down when the flames went away. "You'll have to forgive me, it's a habit where I keep my weapons with me. Old soldiers you know." He unstrapped his folding military cot from his pack and had it set up in a trice. "I'll probably just camp out here in the living room if you don't mind." He rolled out his bedding from the head of the cot and took off his boots. "I'm probably going to read a bit and then crash for the morning if you dont mind dude." He pulled out a topographical map of the area and began jotting some figures into a small note pad charting his trip so far and trying to pull from his memory how the lay of the land fell in compareson to the map. "It says here thier is a depression... probably couldn't see because if the snow...." He muttered to himself as he tapped his chin with a pencil.

"I am glad you think so. I do hope my whole, changing clothes as I did did not startle you." Alucard said smiling.

"Well, if you wish to use your stuff, that is fine. I was going to offer you one of the many rooms instead. King sized bed, bathroom that you could use to shower and whatnot. BUt whatever, it is your choice. It would be wrong of me to force the issue. Just concerned about your comfort is all."

"You want something to eat or drink?" Alucard asked as he headed into the kitchen.

Tier shook his head. "Nah. You wll have to forgive me though, I'm just one of thoes brain washed military guys. But sure if you want to fix something you can. I just don't want to impose or seem rude. Hells if it hadn't been for you I'd been camping back outside somewhere again. It's actually quite nice to be able to have a roof over my head and not out in the bald open setting oin some camp all the time you know?" He said with a laugh.

"It is no trouble at all. You are welcome to at least take a shower or something as wwhen one travels, and places to do so are unknown when on the road, it may be good to do it when you can. May help ya feel a bit better as well and make it easier to sleep or something."

"Is there anything in particular you would like to have, say a favorite food you haven't had in a long time but deep down have been craving?" Alucard asked.

"But camping outside can have some benefits and downfalls as does many other things in life. I mean, in here, there is no worry of attack from outside forces due to it being inside a mountain. And if you had not been with me when we walked through the first door from the outside, all you would have seen and felt was the tunnel as though having been collapsed in on itself. It is a type of specialized illusionary magic that acts as a defense mechanism against unwanted or uninvited guests. I mean, granted, there would have been enough room to say, set up a small camp of sorts, but other then that, not much else."

"I remember ages ago, I used to live in a forest where I had quite a decent home, and the whole forest had a special illusion and other spells that would make it so a persons internal sense of direction, as well as any potential tools to attempt to assist in sensing direction would also be useless. COmpassesspinning out of control or even not moving at all. Electronical things not able to hold a charge. And even things used to mark paths would seem to disappear. It was special as no matter what one tried to to to forge deeper into the forest, it would all look the same. Of course, if they decided they had enough and wished to say, head back home, then they would suddenly find themselves outside where they first steped foot into the forest. Granted, back at that place, I also had some small waterfall and cool lake area, as well as a natural hot springs area."

"Though technically, I still do. It is just that it is a lot farther down and deeper inside, as I used some other magic to alter geological aspects and alter how water floowed and whatnot to create it as well as in the case of the hot springs, a large winding tunnels that would say, be onlyas wide as your arm, so it was not like anyone could fall in to their deaths."

"Granted, this is a bit of a smaller scale on something I have an idea for. I am sure, though I hope not, that one day in the future, perhaps a few hundred years from now, there may be some horrible war unlike any the world has seen. Possibly even nuclear. I would allow people to come and in a sense, have a form of self contained subterranean city of a massive scale. Granted, I am still working out some details of it, but still, it is a goal of mine. With these various elemental stones I can create, It can allow for various things and I could even make it so there is illusion magic that covers the tops of the cave walls to act as though they are able to be able to see outside and see sun as well as stars and whatnot at night. Though whether or not it is illusionary magic or something else that really allows that to come trough, I am not sure on."

"Ah, dang it. I apologize. Sometimes, my head fills with an explosion of ideas that I tend to ramble them off or it takes a long time for me to stop thinking about them."

Tier grinned and shook his head. "You're cool, I personally had to get away from things and do a bit of traveling when the military told us that the Hunters were no longer needed. We Vulpa may be from beyond the Outer Rim of the known Universe but we have no magics. When you've lived as long as I have you've probably seen some pretty messed up things so magic in not unknown to us Vulpa but we are not gifted with it's use, just the ability to come up with some weapons and tech you wouldn't beleave. Before the war my people were explorers, that was the position that was concidered honorable, so you can imagine the tech we have been creating out there where no one goes." Tier sighed and shrugged. "Ah but my kind are always spoiling for a fight, it will only be a matter of time before we find some new breed of creatures to gain our honor upon and they call us Hunters back into the fight." Tier dug into his pack and retrived a wash bag (US Marine "bathroom bag") and a skivvy roll with a set of pants. "You said thier was a shower, I think I'd like one. As far as food goes I can grab a sandwitch after I get out. Just a piece of lettus, some meat, a bit of a tomato, some salt and pepper and the bred and I'm good to go. Er... where is your bathroom?" Tier asked not wanting to just begin wandering pell mell through the mans house.

"Well, I have been alive for countless millenia. I myself an a traveler or wanderer, though I do so, not only say, with planets and the like, but also with alternate realms of existance or as you might call it, parallel universes. And as for things of a tech design, I am sure I can imagine quite a bit as at least the original real of angels in the universe I am from, what you might call as magic is simply an understanding of the building blocks and energies used in the creation of the universe. Needless to say, I am sure you have heard the saying that thoughts can be incredibly powerful things. To us who have the knoweldge that us angelics do have, we can use these to do various things. So something like, creating something out of thin air, to one say, such as you, you may think it as a type of "magic", but actually it is a type of science that I do not think has a specialized term. Though I do at times simply call it magic because some find that concept easier to take in."

"There is something known as Thaumaturgy which is a type of mystic arts, which involves blood. My sword, is created by this method." Alucard said as his sword was suddenly in his hands, the sheathe pulling away to reveal the blade.

It looked to be almost the size of a two handed Claymore, but the blade was about 1/3 less wide then normal. Alucard seemed to easily hold it in one hand. The odd thing though, was the fact that the entire blade seemed to be made of a crimson colored material that just barely could be seen though.

"This material is known as Bloodstone. Far stronger then even Diamond, and due to it being made of blood, it has certain enchanments you might say that make it so others can't use it.

"Think of it something like a..... DNA Encoding security measure. I remember there was this one planet I landed on where it seemed desert like, and seemed to be some form of planet just for a massive prison. They seemed to have their firearms encoded in a way that if your DNA was not in a type of database, you would not be able to use the weapon and if you picked it up and tried, you would get one hel of an electric shock."

Alucard concentrated for a sec, and the handle of it glowed.

"Feel free to see how light it is. It may almost seem as though made of air." Alucard said to Tier. "And don't worry, I have made it so you are temporarily allowed to hold it."

"If I may ask, how long have you been alive?"

"As for food and beverage, feel free to go into the fridge. So you know, the handles of the fridge have something that can allow your thoughts of what you wish to eat to be read and allow the food to be created the instant you open the fridge door as well."

(Will answer the bathroom/shower aspect next post ok? ^^)

Tier nodded as he reached for the weapon. "By Vulpine standarsa I'm twenty three, but by Human standards I'm one hundred and sixty one. My kind age one year to a Human's seven." Tier weighed the blade in his hand moving it up and down and twirling it once one handed listening to it's deathsong as it sliced keenly through the air. He shook his head holding out the sword, handle first to Alucard. "Here, When you said Bloodstone you had me worried at first. My people and I found smalish stones known as Bloodstones but they were very different. You know of something known as Sipstrassi? Well they are stones that can actually grant you whatever you wish. Whatever you wish." He said again to emphathise the point that not only could they be used for good but for evil as well. he shook his head. "When my people found thies stones we thought to use them as weapons but found that they had more power than we barganed for. We lost the planet we found them on and forgot them because if you put blood on a piece of Sipstrassi it turns it into a Bloodstone. A Blood stone will grant your wishes just like a piece of Sipstrassi but it takes your wish and truns it into something horrable. I cant explain it but I'm sure you get the picture." He grinned at the weapon and shook his head with a scoff. "Thank the Ancestors that that thing is not made out of the Bloodstone I know of."

(The balde isn't say, like a light saber, but I suppose might as well be as light as one as it just primarily the weight is in the handle. XD ))

"Ah I see. When I go by age, I usually go by humanoid standard just because most people for the most part think of me more human then non human. You know what I mean by the whole non human part right?"

"Ah, the stone, if it has blood spilled on it, usually the spilt blood would probably have a small bit of the original persons anger and hatred contained within it even if they died or not. And maybe feds on negative energies as well, which causes the corruption aspect of it. Unfortunatly, I have not heard of such a stone as far as I know."

"Pretty much, this blade is made of my own blood. Of course, I can say, maipulate it to also take on other forms as well." Alucard said as he closed his eyes, holding it inhis hand, the shape of th handle seeming to become a thin pole and the red bloodstone material, looking like a type of goo, seemed t shift towards the top and then form something like half of a crecent blade, now looking like a scythe of sorts.

The then grabbed the handle, the red goo of thos "bloodstone" seeming to coat the pole and then Alucard pulled the pole which seperated into two, and shunk and remade itself, now looking like a pair of Katar. Alucard then made it transform into a rather odd and interesting thing.

The katar seemed to grow to reach up to his elbow area. Basically, at the end of this other transformation, it looked as though Alucard were wearing some form of heavy plate mail gauntlets, but built into the toop seemed to be some form of think that lookked like a fusion of a large kite shield and blade similarly tipped like how the clamore was though only about 1/3 of it extending outward. The tips seened to slide into the shield like thing, and the edges of the shield seemed to be crimson, as though they were sharp blades on the edge of this odd and unique armor.

"Anywho, you said you wished to see about using a restroom. Allow me to show you one." Alucard said as the gauntlet things vanished from his hands, reappearing next to the couch.

Alucard led Tier into the closest room, and opened it. They stood inside one of the bedrooms. The bedroom seemed to have a bed that seemed to almost be 1.5 the size of a king sized bed. There was a lage bookshelf with a random assortment of books. what looked to be a closet and another door on the opposite wall.

Alucard approached this dooor and opened it, motioning for Tier to follow him.

"Well, here ya go. Obviously, you know what a toilet is I am sure. The shower tub combo unit is over here." The shower tub looked more like a rather large jacuuzi. There were bars of soap as well as what looked to be a type of gel type soap similar to shampoo as well.

"Towels are in this cupboard as well as any toilet tissue you may need. And feel free to use one of the bathrobes if you wish."

"I shall allow you your privacy. In the mean time, I think I will figure out something to cook for both of us as I would like to as it has been quite some time since I last had company and would like to cook something for ya instead of a sandwich, ok?" Alucard said with a big smile.

((I was wondering, if say, you would want to possibly, continue this in say, the yiffy section? Or no? Just curious. Either way is fine by me. ^^))

((OOG) "Hmm... interesting about the blade, I'm a bit of a weapons nut being a Sergeant and a Training Instructor in a Contract Security company. That will be up to you with the sections, I tend to gear my characters more toward dialouge and destruction." Shrugs "It's up to you we could probably get more players doing that. Oh, by the way, I tend to build my characters off of myself. I can shoot you a Bio if you like, that way you can get a better idea of who you're talking to rather than the crummy intro I posted at my intrance to the RP.")

Tier nodded in appericeation of the weapon and removed his sleeveless trench jacket to toss onto his bunk before following Alucard to the bathroom. He noted the bed but still held up his hand shaking his head. "I'm sorry but I feel like I'm imposing enough, it's just my upbringing. I'm not too uned to someone being this kind towards me." He bowed his head in thanks a little bashful toward someone willing to look out for his concerns. "I certainly thank you. about five mimiutes and I'll be out to grab a bite." He closed the bathroom door after Alucard had left and turned on the water figureing and testing it's desired warmth as it streamed fro mthe shower head with his hand. Satisified he removed his clothes and grabbed his soap and rag and stepped into the shower. Various scars traced his body where he had been shot, stabbed, and beaten near to death over his many years of fighting. He lathered up the rag and began washing the grime from his travles as the warm water ran across his body. Fully washed and after he had rinced all of the soap from his fur he turned off the water and leaned out to grab his towel. He dried himself and put on fresh clothes committing to memory that he would need to wash the old suite some time in the near future. He took out his tooth brush and began brushing his teeth. Making sure the door was truly shut he opened his mouth wide in the frightening manner Vulpa do when they let loose one of thier war howls or when they exicute an enemy in the way they are most infamous for.

His lower jaws opened down and to the side splitting at the chin revealing rows and rows of shark like teeth. He had masked this from the Angelic creature very well by moving is lips when he spoke and everything. Most creatures tended to freak out when they found out the Vulpa had secondary mouths. This appendage slithered forward from the back of his throat and Tier brushed the flatter teeth built more for chewing on this mouth. He rinced with the little travle bottle of mouthwash he carried and rinced his toothbrush before putting on the cap and placing his effects back in the wash bag and walked back out into the living room to replace his effects back into his bag. Making his way to the kitchen he sniffed appericeatively. "Hmm, smells good. What is it?"

((I REALLY should be asleep now. XD 615am. XD. For me, I am one that likes the look and design of older weapons, more around old style blades, and melee weapon as well as the odd types of armor and shields also. ^^ I was wondering as I noticed on the thingy where it says your sexual preferance, it says you prefer straighht or are or something. I kinda hesitated in asking, as I did not wish to risk upsetting you. Is that a Real Life only thingy and when RPing you do not mind what gender a partner is? Anywho, feel free to send me a PM answering that as well as the Bio/Intro aspect.

Alucard was based off of things about the real me. You could say he is like the ideal version of myself. Or a super powered version I at times wish I could become. Bt feel free to shoot me a Boi and other info in PMs and we can chat there. ^^))


"Believe me you are not imposing at all. I have a bunch of rooms, and I would prefer that if I have a guest, they use one. Kinda of like, wishing to allow then to at least when they are in the room or in my house, can just relax and let go of outside things, for just a bit, you know? It feels odd as I have never had anyone who never actually took a room, so it is all kinda like "Whoa" to me." Alucard said, his face turning a bit red.

Alucard then left Tier to do as he pleased as he went into the kitchen and prepared some food for them to eat.

Alucard remembered that Tier mention wanting a sandwich, so decided to allow it where he could make just about any type of sandwich he wanted. as there were a massive assortment of various vegetables as well as meats and cheezes.

"That was indeed a fast shower. I hope you were able to at least enjoy it a bit." Alucard said.

Square slizes, thick round slices, and loafs about 6 and 10 inches long and from 2-4 inches wide. There are a great number of cheeses, meats and vegetables in which you can put on it. And, if you wish the sandwich to be warmed up, let me know ok? I shall make my sandwich after you make ones you wish to make. Be it one or a bunch. It does not matter to me.
