I'm having a problem staying logged in. See, I never had a problem before. But it all started when firefox updated recently. It's not just here, it's every website that I have a user name and password for. I'll stay logged in until I close the broswer I'll have to sign in the next time.
Yes, I am clicking "remember me". Yes, I deleted all cookies, temperory internet files and even offline pages. It accepts cookies.
Any help?

Well, close your browser and re-open it. If the trend continues, you should be logged out now. Then check your cookies, which ones are presently stored. Are they still there? If not, then it may be deleting yout cookies when you log out for some reason.

Here is one thing that could be the issue.
Go under the context Menu 'Tools > Options' Then click the privacy tab. Make sure the check box that reads 'Always clear private data when I close Firefox' is NOT checked.

Yeah, the box isn't checked, one of the first things I thought might've been the problem. I even looked in the settings for it and the cookies aren't checked *you know, for deletion).
Well Hawk, I looked for my cookies and... I don't see any. Even when I was logged out AND when I was logged in. No cookies at all. Unless I'm looking in the wrong place.

You should be able to view your cookies, by going to the Same privacy tab as in my last post, then in th Cookies frame, click the Cookies button. One there what you should also look at under that Cookies frame; there is a little drop down list that select how long till cookies expire. You probably want it to say 'Until they expire'.
If that is not the problem, try disabling all your extensions. Go to 'Tools > Add-Ons' then disable them all. If that solved the problem it is one of your extensions causing the issue. If not you can turn them back on.
Next thing to try, Delete your cookies.sqlite file, and if you see a cookies.txt file delete that too(Make sure Firefox is closed at this time). They should be located in your Mozilla profile folder. To find the location to this folder go here http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox

Thanks Draces. I had to delete the cookies.sqlite file. I'm not sure how they expect people to know to do that. So, if I have any problems with this again, I'll know who to ask. Thanks.
