Lost in the Woods

OOC: The setting is a dizzying array of trees that one could call woods but is really more of a maze. There are animals everywhere and no one is quite sure how to get out.

* stumbles over a tree root and grumbles with irritation* Darn these big clumsy paws, I wish I could just find my way out of here already! *drags all four paws out of the mud and climbs up a rock to look around* I wonder if theres anybody else around here?

Dusty swings off a branch and lands on a rock next to tan(?). Hes a white skunk with blue stripes and green eyes, about 5'6" and 160lbs. He looks over to his new friend and give a little smile. "Hiya! Who are you?" He asks with a little head tilt. Hes been stuck in this forest for about four days now surviving on what he could find, which is surprisingly plentiful, and wondering pretty much aimlessly around.

hello, I'm tanaka, who are you? and do you know where we are? I'm sorta confused, I've been wandering around this forest for awhile and I haven't seen much in the way of something that a lion like me could eat...you haven't seen anything in the way of animals raised and bred for eating do you? its the only kind I'll eat , as they have been raised to accept death as imminent.

"Hello Tanaka I'm Dusty!" Dusty pauses for a moment to think. "Well I believe I have seen some animals that looked as if they were raised for food.." Dusty smiles and points in a direction that the animals were last seen.

*falls from a tree and gets tangled in viens* Hello! I'm a tad lost myself! Can you point me to the direction of the nearest cabin or lodge to stay at?

"Certainly, you just take a left at that bush *points to a healthy bush full of raspberries* go down until you see an old tree stump covered in moss...there you should find enough lumber to build yourself one," answers a mysterious black wolf with a silver eye.

Not to far from the three others a frazzled large feline clumsily made her way over roots and through dence foilage(sp). Cordella's thick brown fur was full of thickets and her red mane was ruffled. Her large paws ached from walking all day. She was slightly getting frightened from not being able to get out. Her stubby tail swayed uneasily.

As she begins to finally get her footing she did not see the shallow hill and lost her balance and went over. Leting out a wail of panic she went tumbling down. She fell at the feet of one of the three that were around the area.

Dusy laughs a little watching the show. He claps his paws togeather. "What an entrance!"

Cordella struggled back to all four paws and looked up at Dusky a slight emberrest blush hiding under her fur. Shifting into her hybrid form she scratched the back of her head.
With the blush came the sheepish smile.
"Uh Tank you..." Standing she brushed herself off and looked around at the three. "are all of you lost as well?" she asked.

"Well I wouldn't say lost more like cant find the exit is more like it." Dusty said with a smile. "Names Dusty." He holds out his paw.

Cordella blinked.
"Ah sounds right..." she said about not being able to find an exit. She took the offered hand. "Cordella. Nice to meet you."

From the cover of the dence undergrowth a pare of deadset eyes gazes at the quintet. The grey fox Vulpa was compleatly invisable inder the cover of his Active Camouflage system inbedded into the light armored uniform he wore reminisant of a 1940s German elite. Built like any other soldier and with the mannersims of a Sergeant he had been watching the group so see if he should draw a weapon and attack or simply leave them be, it was now clearly evident that they were just as lost as he was. Maps ment nothing here and navigating by the stars was next to near impossable given the thick canopies of the trees. He removed his paw from his browd sword and holstered his pistol, one could never be too careful. He stood silently adjusting his field pack and sniper riflethen stepped out onto the path. Once the Hunter was among the group he disengauged his Active Camouflage system and appeared with a shimmer like a mirage at the edge of the group.

"It seems that you all are lost also. My name is Tier, Vulpine Hunter of the five fourty fifth Antikorper. Where are we?" He said adressing Dusty as after watching the oddly colored skunk jump from the branches, Tier assumed the creature had at least some working knowledge of the area.

There comes a quite rustling from a patch of bushes off to the side of the path, and a feral nie tailed black and blue kitsune wanders in with his nose low to the ground, sniffing around in search of his favorite food, the pomegranate. When he sees the small group of furrs, his eyes light up, and he shape shifts to anthro form. He is about 5' 7" with thick black fur, 130, blue eyes ear and tail tips, and right fore paw. He extends said paw in greeting.

"Hello everyone im Kisu, nice to see im not the only one whos a little lost out here, although i dont mean that like its a good thing." at that moment his stomach releaases a loud growl, making him jump a little. "Im sorry, but would anyone know where i could locate a pomegranate tree? Im so hungry!"

Tier looked down at the strange creature untrustingly. "Pomegranate tree? What by The Path are you going on about?"
